Are you sure there is no where in town where you can buy it?

I live in Cardiff and there is 3 different places (all in the city center) where I can buy imported Americans drinks/sweets/food.

Normally I'd think there wasn't a whole lot here. I would be suprised if Birmingham didn't have a single store.

Also I thought the taste was different, but then I thought it was my mind playing tricks on me because of a slightly different label.

Diet Coke outsells regular Coke. I've heard it said that this can be attributed to Diet Coke tasting miles better than regular Coke in America, because the artificial sweeteners taste better than the HFCS that they use over there.

However, I don't understand why people would drink Diet Coke here unless they were actually dieting, as sugar tastes better than artificial sweeteners.
 
I can't believe how cheap Coke is in America: $1.78 for a 2lt bottle (£1.78 here), or a 10pk of cans for $5.99 but buy 2 get 3 free (equivalent to 15p a can)!!:eek::D
 
I drink far too much diet coke. Used to drink regular but now find it far too sweet, so now i drink diet. Problem is i think there must be too much caffeine in it because if i don't have any for a day or 2 i will almost certainly get a headache.

Really must cut down.
