Men in pink shirts

What colours are not gay? Is yellow gay? What does a blue shirt say about the wearer? Do they enjoy the company of men as well? This is important for my research and understanding of the goons who post here.

I thought the fact you said "I look totally GQ" made you sound more bent than the pink clothes.

Stephen Fry said:
Up until the 20th century, baby boys wore pink and baby girls wore blue. Boys at that time were also referred to as girls. In 1900, Dressmaker Magazine said "The preferred colour to dress young boys in is pink. Blue is reserved for girls as it is presumed paler and the more dainty of the two colours, and pink is thought to be stronger". In 1927, Princess Astrid of Belgium caused controversy when she gave birth to a girl, as "the cradle had been optimistically outfitted in pink, the colour for boys". It was believed that blue was more serene and paler, hence it was used for girls.

Don't question the Fry.

Black can make you look sleek, svelte, panther-like - and everyone knows that being to sleek is gay.

Yellow is a colour used on bibs, MX-5s and MGFs. Gay then.

Red is the colour of lipstick warn by trannies. I don't have to say any more do I?

Brown is the colour of excrement. Which comes out of your bottom. And where do the gays put it? Exactly.

White reminds people of school. Everyone knows that school is gay. So you have your answer.

Blue suggests the corporate man. Sold out. No backbone. And you know what we think about men with no backbone. Add it to the list.

Orange is about the most flamboyant choice you can make. Who doesn't know that "flamboyant" is just another word for "homosexual"

Purple is one shade from pink. Do the maths.

I sincerely hope this helps.

Green shirts all the way, then, yeah?

Haha love it :D

What about pattern shirts, eg stripes/checks etc?

Leave pink to women. Calling it salmon is doubly gay.

I agree, pink is not a colour for guys.
There seems to be a trend with the directors at a couple of companies I have visited recently with regard to pink shirts. It's weird....like someone has told them it's cool for guys to wear pink...
Prob Hollyoaks fault, British everything at it's worst

Pink is fine if it looks good on you or suits you.

If you're not sure if it looks good on you or not then you probably shouldn't be picking up a pink shirt anyway.

interesting debate

I got a pink shirt and tie but only wear it with my suit when going to special occasion

imo pink is the most sexiest colour you can get on a woman but having spoken to some of them they seem to love men wearing pink - work that one out

good angle of thinking imo.

Pink seems to suit my skin colour tone pretty well, don't wear it much though...

Long as you have the right pose I'm sure it'll work :P

I wear pink, at work when out clubbing. Never had any comments outside of friends to be honest. Guess being a 6 foot 3 22 stone skin head helps matters but as I say, real men wear pink.
