Will a Corsair H60 fit sideways?

So I don't have enough space for it to fit like this, with the radiator at vertical:

I was wondering if it was possible to turn the radiator 90 degrees to have it facing horizontally? :confused:

no reason why not. as long as the rad is above or level with the waterblock everything will be fine

just out of interest, what case do you have?

i find it surprising that it wont fit the proper way

Cooler Master Elite 335

There's a piece of metal that juts out underneath the PSU that will restrict it from fitting. The PSU is mounted at the top of the case.

If you mount it the other way, it's probably going to clash with your case.
The 12CM fan should make is so that the RAD isn't blocked, I'd have assumed.

It should fit, i had a H50-1 in mine before i switched to to my current case

Thanks for the information! The H50 radiator should be the same size as the H60, shouldn't it?

the maximum cooler height for the elite 335 is 163mm, enough for the thermalright silver arrow. i would go for that instead of the H60 any day

its pretty much the best cooler on the market. the only reason why i would recommend the H60 over the silver arrow is if you wanted to move your PC around a lot

H60: 40.4C (standard); 52.6C (OC); 41.5 dB
silver arrow: 36.5C (standard); 44.7C (OC);40.1 dB
