That is amazing. Roads are very clean and the infrastructure looks almost as good as today, bar the clothing which have generally been replaced by jeans etc:p

Plus quality of life can be seen. Everything is calm and people are just going about in a relaxed manner, unlike today with the usual 'rush' plus all BS happening today.


Quality of life gone replaced by quantity in life :(
 
Before foreigners came with their fast food (yes that includes Americans too) and made us fat.

I wish we could go to those times they probably lived much harder lives than what any of us have today and yet they have smiles on their faces.

True!!

Even 20 years ago, life was quite different. Sure there were problems aswell but atleast people appreciated and enjoyed life more with friends, families, cousins, etc.

Can we really imagine 'Apprentice' type programs back in those days:p

20 years ago i.e. 1991? I don't think things were very different tbh...
 
It's a shame the young men in those days missed crysis, metro2033, bf2, upoming bf3 and dirt 3 etc.

In that sense I think we are very fortunate to have been born in modern era:p

That would depend on how you define simple. I will keep it simple for you...

Times were not any simpler in 1926 than 2011, read any history book on the period and you will see that.

However, people led lives of less expectation, lower education, lower life expectancy, higher infant mortality, less individual rights, far more insular and generally harder than the lives we lead today. The people led simpler lives in comparison to our own (in general)

What evolution has to do with I have no idea, unless you are talking about social evolution, however the quality of your posts so far lead me to believe this is not the case.
