Air Canada

Yeah they are fine just like any other airline really.

All come with seats in standard class and thats about it.

I flew with them last year, economy class  LAX>YYZ>LHR

Their planes were very clean, and had excellent entertainment. Along with AC power at every seat which i have only ever had in business and above on other airlines.

I flew with them a couple of years ago, they were fine. Only issue was we got a very old A320 if I remember, pre refit so it was a bit rickety. Coming back none of the electrics were working correctly, so it meant some reading lights were on permanently and others wouldn't work at all.

Going out was good though as there were loads of empty seats, I got a set of 2 or maybe 3 to myself and my dad moved forward to have another set of 2 or 3 by an exit to himself.

Wow that's a pretty good feature

Flying with them in Jan next year and was just wondering if they're any good?

Anyone had any experiences?

Flew with them last year - they're very, very good. They're on par with our BA..

Expect friendly hosts and hostesses, excellent plane food (not that it's going to be uber-amazing anyway) and French / English!

The on-board entertainment system on the newer fleet is good, and you get free headphones

I think their Atlantic flights are better than their domestic flights, this may be a common thing for all operators but when I flew inside Canada with them a few years back I needed 4 planes and all but 1 was late and it was pretty cramped in the seats. Flying internationally this year was pretty good with a reasonable amount of room, decent in-flight entertainment and the aforementioned free headphones too.

Perfectly fine, i fly with them now as before i used to fly with BA but their prices have gone up so fly AC...their planes are decent and their staff arent bad...always a pleasant flight with them.

Used them before no problems, though CanadaAffair seem to use Thomas Cook planes and are substanioanly cheaper

Definitely going to be an Air Canada plane? I say that because they code share with United and I flew United to the US and back (with a transfer each way) and they were all AC planes... :p

On the other hand they were pretty good. Clean etc and the in flight entertainment was par for the course. I loved my domestic transfer though. Small turboprop with 34" pitch and free snacks. Helped that it was pretty much empty as well...

Just come back from Vancouver on Air Canada, nearly new 777 300ER, the plane had USB and 110v AC in Economy, and the new style LED daylight lighting in the ceiling - very cool!

Food was the best I've ever had on a flight, attendants were excellent and the whole experience was very enjoyable.

Unlike BA's and UA tired old 747's this was a breath of fresh air!

We got really good seats too - row 50 HJ - check out the best seats on SeatGuru

I've flown with them many times. Can't really fault them to be honest, nice service, decent food, good entertainment and comfy seats :)
