One thing that's got me wondering is the system req for ES5 isn't THAT high, all be it could be fake, but they all seem a lot lower then when Oblivion came out (and that needed some power)

My question is, not platform would it play better on (I played Oblivion on both PC and XBOX and thought PC looked better) but graphically. What would come out better?

Ok scratch that, THIS is the stupidest OP I have read here in quite a while (not the witcher 2 conundrum one).

(PC obviously - mods, graphics, framerate, controls, customizability)

I've been waiting for a new Elder Scrolls since I completed Oblivion haha :)

Yes I'm sorting out a new PC, posted a lot on here, but I'm waiting to see prices after Bulldozer. I just want to know what would look better, PC or XBOX, as I have about 5 games I need to buy between Sep-Nov :(

Not sure why you even asking pc is fare superior to the xbox 360.

PC would ofc look better, higher res, higher frame rate ability to turn on effects the consoles can't have if they bother to include any, ability to turn on AA etc etc

Reason I asked (and no need for some people to get on the offensive) is when Oblivion came out, it smashed any game on XBOX (at that time) and looked amazing. But as I don't play my games at super high res at the moment, that wouldnt make a difference. But consider this thread closed :)

I just wish I could get gamescore for it on PC :)

You're asking a bunch of PC enthusiasts in the PC Games sub-forum what platform will be better to play it on? :p Every response will be the same my friend.

PC.

But as well as looking graphically richer on PC, you'll also be able to mod the game to make things better (not initially, mind you, but after a while there will no doubt be a huge community of modders releasing some great mods).

People say Oblivion is several times better with some of the best mods applied, so there's no reason why Skyrim won't eventually receive the same treatment.

It'll look tons better on the six year old, £150 console! Don't believe these guys!!

If you have good pc your gonna be able to play it at 1080P, lots of AA and AF and at a great framerate.

Xbox you would be lucky to get a genuine 720p, 30fps and some AA.

On Xbox it will be more expensive and you will have no mods e.t.c. You will also be tied to using a xbox controller.

no brainer if you have a good pc.
