Ferrari 360 Experience Day - Elvington, York

OCUK group buy ? :p

Haha. I can guarantee you it's worth it.

You don't need to go in a corporate group as long as you book a share day. Even your misses or mate can come along and watch as a non-participant and still get breakfast/lunch and afternoon tea.

I did the single seater day at Mallory Park with Everyman racing (was a gift from the other half many years ago) and it was a really good day.

Drove 5 cars including 2 different single seaters, the instruction you had was to basically get you round as quick as possible :)

Was a very good day although no idea how much it would have cost.

Not sure I would mention what I drive unless they asked?

There was about a minute at the start before the in car video, where the "instructor" only asked what did car did I come in and if I had done a experience day before, and if I had used paddle shift before.

Nothing else was asked and how you can judge someones driving skill just by what car they drive I don't know?

@Fox: maybe I should have said I own two grands worth of BMW?? Quite clearly that would have showed the instructor my capabilities...?

Sort us out some discount then? :D

3;)

Honestly though I don't think talking about your Mini helped at all. Don't they have about 23bhp?

I said I had just been to the Nurburgring in an M3 DCT and it made no different. They were all old duffers- probably couldn't hear the answers to the questions they were asking

Judging by most of your posts here I can see why they didn't want to let you go over 50mph. Do you talk like a 12 year old as well as post like one?

Way to totally miss my point? Not saying it was your fault, just an indication of why the silly woman was so irritating.

OMG I skipped through that vid quickly and could barely watch/listen to it. Absolutely awful experience that looked. Cringe worthy. Like a driving test as said. Unbelievably bad. In fact, that's made me think again about wanting to do one of these now. I don't think I could take that kind of nagging and "instruction". Her arms were flapping about all over the DRIVERS controls too. Wow. Shocked how bad that looks. If I went on one of those I would want to be able to thrash the car somewhat, not take an airfield driving test.
