You never mentioned if you need a harddrive? so included a quick one.

The motherboard above has SATA3.0 and USB3.0

Total: £381.94 you can probably sell the download codes for the games at £10 each (at a guess) So its a bit over budget but performance is worth it :)

You can save money and use the mobo stulid spec'd i just spec'd this one incase he may want to put a 'k' chip in at some point. Thinking about it use the board stulid suggested :p

i make that £393.34. i think you forgot the delivery

I think someone didnt see the budget (£350) I might as well spec a 15 2500K system for not much more.

What if the games is something he wants to use and play?

Anyone can go overbudget on a spec, the trick is not too.

Heres a i52500K spec that blows everything out the water,

If you dont need a harddrive its £410 and well worth it.

Yes i get the point stulid but do you not often spec a HafX with psu combo, then suggest to people to sell the psu? Same principle applies i believe.

Its not the same principle.

A free PSU that is a bit rubbish can be sold to recoup costs while keeping the extra PSU specced.

What if the OP wants these games? nothing to sell to recoup costs.

z68

Hopefully they'll be some better budget z68's soon as the SSD feature is a nice to have option although just installing your OS on the SSD on a p67 board would probably yield similar results especially if you RAID 0'd your data drives

Yes the 6870 is worth it - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/290?vs=313

If your going to get a P67 board then get cheapest 1600 ram - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-203-CS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517

If your into overclocking then this will probably be good for 4.5ghz with a half decent cooler - just remember if going for this you would be on a 1156 socket so upgrade paths are limited. Try as I might I could not get a 6870 within budget but bear in mind that as little as a tenner more and you could squeeze one in and it would be worth it. Overclockers sell a guaranteed OC i3 bundle which would definately be a good way to go.
