I grew up with my brother and cousin playing this game I liked to spend a few hours gaming when younger this was like the old school game we all played in Clans using Teamspeak, Clan matches in various leagues etc. Then we moved too Cod, Cod2, Cod4, now we are all pretty casual Xbox/Social life etc. I was just wondering if anyone played this game? If anyone still does? and if so do many people tend to play this still? Cause with the way things are moving this is such a basic game.
 
Doubt people here play it. I've not played it in ages. I've even sold my copy off last year. Think i traded in a few games at gamestation that very day.

But yea when i was younger i did play it. Enjoyed all the Medal of Honour games where brilliant.

I just picked up the Warchest version in a charity shop for £2, contains 4 discs & a manual with all three CD keys on the back I just wonder how much better it will run on current PC graphics etc :D
 
Used to play this game one of the best pc WW2 shooters in my opinion, just wish still had my copy so i could give it try agian
 
Well I think the game is so old that It has no idea what Duel Core/Quad Core/ Hyper-threading or more than 512VRam is haha.

Well I never purchased it, a friend gave it around sort of thing but I deffo wouldn't mind paying for it, I just had it there but I may dig it out use it via Bootcamp, cannot beat the Grenade tricks, the clipping, wiggling. haha. The playability is insane.
 
Actually since it uses the Quake 3 Arena engine, in theory it should understand multithreaded cpus via the /r_smp command, although it was very buggy.
 
Absolutely fantastic game, was never really bothered when Spearhead came out, the original is the best. Superb on multiplayer too. Everything about it was great, the sound, the feel, at the time the graphics were pretty good, and the maps were truly excellent.
 
I'm obsessed with the german taunts in this game, brings back so many memories.

lol those taunts were classic, I remember getting a servere telling off from my clan leader after me and another clan member totally p***ed off another clan in a clanbase match by constantly spamming the German taunts. Happy days.
 
Still have this and all the expansions, havent played it in ages though. But for a few years i played this every night of the week. Probably the best of the moh games, the pacific version wasnt that great or the airborne version that came out a few years ago. Iirc, did most of the development team up and leave 2015, to form infinity ward who gave us call of duty?
 
i used to play this every night for about 2 years. played on clanbase, and even the old blueyonder leagues. i ran a clan and we rented a server from barrysworld? anyone remember them haha it seems such as age ago.

it's one of the best online games ive ever played!
 
Used to play this a lot about 5 or so years ago on the spearhead servers. Gave it up after a bad clan experience tho. Shame cos i was pretty good at it.
 
Used to play Spearhead obsessively waaay back, was in a few teams namely fcuk: if anyone played and remembers? :)

Fantastic game though, lots and lots of fun.
