Is anyone else suffering from it's ridiculous aim/hit registration?

It could just be me, but im fairly certain that every one of my shots is on target :/

Have you got the aim assist or whatever it is turned off? + What are the stats for that particular rifle?

Also, I think your skill some weapons affects spread over distance.

Likely the Aim assists which defaults to "on". It was messing me up to so I just turned it off, stinks of a console port

It's an RPG as well, you need a rifle with better accuracy stat.

Hmmm well, Rifle Accuracy is 88%, +25% from Focus and -50% sway. Odd!
Turned off Aim Assist, will see if it registers better!

Looking at your vid I think one of the problems is that you are going for headshots, which are much harder to hit because the head represents a smaller target than the torso. 88% accuracy doesn't necessarily mean that 88% of bullets are bang on target, it may mean that shots typically fall on average 12% away from the target (i.e. measuring the distance from the target to some other arbitrary point).

In a lot of games with spread on weapons I aim for the upper torso as you will then hit most of your shots and fluke the odd headshot.

Also, if you hadn't noticed, each of the different "brands" of guns have different characteristics.

Some are hard hitting, with low accuracy. Some have a super high fire rate, or a quick reload speed. etc. etc.

Been a while, but I think it's Hyperion that make the most accurate snipers.

It's the art style, some like it and some don't. Gameplay is fantastic, for me - more than makes up for poor graphics, even if I'm quite fond of it myself

DampCat: I see your problem right off. You're using a sniper rifle. Pick a better character, use a real weapon and get up in their faces. I recommend Siren for her awesome phasewalk ability and affinity for SMGs

Its actually quite fun. All the classes play differently so its got good replay value. The level progression isnt too fast or slow. Coop works well, and classes can assist others with skills. Multiple build variations can work for each class and theres no skill reset penalty. The visuals work as the game doesnt take itself too seriously.

It does get very boring when all you have left to do is kill crawmerax for epic loot but I think of all the pc games I have bought in the last 3 years i have replayed this one the most

Well thats your problem right there. Gamble sniper rifles should never, ever, be used. You should avoid using any sniper rifle below 95% accuracy, though a higher zoom level compensates for slightly lower accuracy.

The stats are all really awkward just because the descriptions they use really don't help at all.
