Counter Strike Global Offensive rumours

Is this not like any new version of a game that has a hardcore eSports following?

The majority of tournaments/players will continue to play the previous iteration and mass adoption to the new game will not take place for some time?
 
I'm just hoping that one day they will sort out the problems the orange box engine brought.
 
New version of counter strike....

CSS came out just before HL2 so valve could test and debug their new engine.

Does that mean they are releasing a new engine and then finally HL3?:eek:

Might not be prolonging, it could be a indication that its coming soon.

Played CSS for the first time in a few years recently and damn has it not aged well.. Game is so outdated these days... as much as people will rage games like CoD have far surpassed it in every aspect

Ahh rainbow 6 now there was a proper fps series, before consoles became all popular and ruined it :(

Every aspect bar skill required and teamwork. CoD is popular because it lowered the skill ceiling so far that anyone can pick it up and have a blast, all with the cheap hook and reward of unlocking perks and weapons.
 
Weapon upgrades, skills upgrades, hoooooge maps, massive player count at least 32 x 32, lots of DLC, a hand full of maps, no customisation, no skill required, no team work needed.

YES YES YESSSSS!!!!! Can't wait for that, it would be amazingggggg.

I just hope they don't mess around with it to much. Overhall to another engine if you will, but please keep it nice and clearcut.

Please, please PLEASE don't pander to this generation of games.
