Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Saw this a while back too, Enjoyed it.

Monkeys look brilliant and pretty decent acting / pacing and some really good action.

FYI.

Pure Gym members get cheap tickets at Vue just up the lane (student prices).

Kerrrrching!

Me being a big movie lover i find that cinema tickets are expensive, it's even more than going out on the town/takeaway.

standard adult ticket is between £8-10
or if 3d can be £11 - £12 +
then you have the food itself which is costly for example a regular coke £2.50 or XL - £3.50 if you buy popcorn or pickamix will be another £3.50 nearly £20. So if your taking your misses it can be a very expensive night.

So it's understandable why ppl torrent movies. Cinema's are greedy with their prices, you could go to tesco's ect. and get a 2 litre bottle of coke for £1.50 some bag of sweets for £1. Its simply cause it's a business to make profit. if i had to choose between watching good quality cam or going to the cinema i would choose torrents on the basis i just saved myself £20 + for a new game ect.. which would last longer.

I don't think its the cinemas but the film studios. Don't they get 60% of ticket sales? Cinemas only worthwhile revenue stream is food and drink. You are right though - it is very expensive! I miss the days of only paying £4.50 as a student. Ultimate passes/month long passes aren't too bad, usually only cost the price of two films and some months can have loads of decent films to watch.

Just saw this, great film. Obviously it's a bit predictable, but good nonetheless. Loved one moment in particular :D

Went to see this today, wasn't especting that much but it was a suprise as in how good it was. Got the emotions going anyway which to me means it did it's job..

Well worth a watch and of course if you have it use orange wednsdays because the pictures + scran is way to espensive now :( still go at least once a month though :)

Went to watch this, not really a fan of the old movies or the idea of the film in general. But!!... Wow, flippin awesome film, absolutely loved it! I was so shocked at how I felt about it but I can't wait to see it again!

That was well just shocking. So cringe worthy, so many bad lines, appalling acting, Franco was terrible. Didn't click with me from the adverts until I seen it was David Hewlett as the annoying neighbour type person, that made me so sad. So many plot holes and things that just didn't make sense what so ever.

Graphics etc are immense but that can't make up for a bad plot and just general woefulness.
