These games I have been back and forth with but not completed any. Which should I just give up on and move on.

Far Cry 2- I keep coming back to this cause I like the setting and the fell. However the game is...........boring.

Bioshock 1- It is good game but I dunno just something about it..I feels to empty. I mean it is good but I keep finding myself only playing 20mins then putting off, havent played for ages now.

Alpha Protocol- Training was good but the 1st mission was a joke and the controls were terrible so I tried 360 controller and it seems better but I have not really tried much tbh

Stalker- Had this game for years. I keep getting to same point and givign up. Its hard and it was quite frustrating. Complete mod 2009

Metro 2033- I am on the last or 2nd last act? I just found the game and environments pretty repetitive.

Singularity- I got stuck at some point. There is a big door and a monster tries to grab you and its locked. I dont know where you are meant to go. I watch youtube wlakthoguh and guy walks behi8nd metal fence which I cant do on mine lol? Im puzzled

Just Cause 2- i was on last agency mission on PS3. then it got YLOD. Now on PC start from very start..well I enjoy so why not but thats 35-50hours game time I lost on PS3.

Hitman Blood money- The idea of the game is good but its spoilt by fact its easier to complete levels just running and gunning. Im on opera level. Plus kinda old now

Withcer 2- I loved act 1 and prologue but got bored into act 2 on Ioverth path. I must be near end of act 2. But tbh I cba to find all the stuff I gotta find and its not as fun as it was at 1st.

Singularity only takes ~5hours, so definitely try and figure out what bit your stuck on (can't picture it myself to help) - not a bad game at all.

Many will tell you to keep at it with Bioshock as its an amazing game, personally I felt it pretty crap, 2nd was definitely poop...

Can't say much about the others

IMO :-

Far Cry 2- BIN

Bioshock 1- great game, I have played through a couple of times, KEEP

Alpha Protocol- If you can put up with the clunkiness there are some moments of genius in there, otherwise, BIN

Stalker- I have both stalker games and really can't get into them, I have tried multiple times but they don't do it for me, BIN

Metro 2033- Great game, KEEP

Singularity- Great game, try reloading and older save, KEEP

Just Cause 2- Fun to just mess around on, forget the story, just mod it, KEEP

Hitman Blood money- Never been a fan of hitman, BIN

Withcer 2-Play more! KEEP

Keep them all but bin Alpha Protocol its a waste of space, such a tow shame it had the potential to be a great game like mass effect.

If you do bin far cry let me know I take it off your hands, I never go around to complete

Well yeh I like the idea and everything about alpha protocol even training was fine but as soon as I started the missions it kinda sucked lol

Far cry 2....Game is repetitive and far too much travelling. I just like ''being in africa''

I never thought off selling ones I dont keep guess I could preowned lol?

not get much though so well if u wanna pay post maybe ill send?

I got like 100s off uncompleted games though lol...this was only a few I listed

SPlinter Cell conviction another...I completed all previous splinter cell games but this oen I got stuck in some car park level as I keep getting detected so quit

I felt the same with alpha protocol, soon as the game starts you realise how broken and unfinished the game is. Same with far cry enjoyed it love the setting, in the savannah the atmosphere, but never get around to completing lol I tired 3 times.

Try and sell them on member markets can make some cash, you can still sell pre owned games like Far cry etc. Ones with solid single player I guess i can cover the postage I think will need make a post on mm 1st to make sure we abide by the rules.

I completed alpha protocol. It steadily improves as you level up - the combat is really clunk initially. I would say that it is one worth continuing with.

I forced myself to complete Bioshock and was underwhelmed. A boring game.

Could not complete bioshock it just bored me after 30 mins, will give alpha protocol one last try seeing that you said it gets better! & I feel cheated on wasting money it and not trying to get past the 1st mission.

yeh if alpha protocol was made by bioware it would for sure be great.. A modern day spy rpg/action/fps game. So much potential. I heard it dos get better an with my 360 for pc controller maybe it will be easier also for combat? So I read anyway

Bioshcok...well it got great reviews. I like the art and design but to me the game feels kinda empty, but I think thats the atmosphere they are trying to create?

I'll happily pay postage. Haven't got the cash for games at the moment and don't want to get back into the swing of downloading illegally or I'll never buy them again. :D :o

I know not the place for such talk but why you stop?

Most off people I know download all single player pc games.

If a game is good like mass effect 2 I feel fine to pay.

But tbh when you get some generic 5hour fps game and they want 30 quid to me thats a rip-off. However, at least pc games are cheaper than console.

Purely because a year ago I had several terabytes worth of stuff which I hadn't paid a penny for.

In fairness I wouldn't have been able to afford most of it, but even so I felt it cheapened things for me.

Still not converted on TV series though. ;)

Well I mean I dont know the complete legality off it and chances of ''being caught'.

I think one guy every once and a while is made an example off but in reality everybody and their neighbor with the internet is doing it.

I am twelve and where do i download free games?

If you like the game and can afford it at anny moment in time then buy it.

Jumps off my high horse :)

There was a time last term when I could barely buy food let alone a video game, let alone a pc to play one haha.

Most people do it nowdays. Hypocritical but I wish it was as semi exclusive as it was 8 years ago. Was a lot easier and didn't impact people as much.

Ah well. ;p

Bioshock - Finish it, one of my favourites.

far cry 2 - couldnt get into it, far too much time getting around not enough substance, also why do the freaking check points all respawn when you move out the area for a bit!?!?

Metro 2033 - good game, I can see the views on the scenary being repetative but the ending was pretty good.

Stalker got really repetative and I wouldnt blame you for binning it as well.

Cant comment on the others.

Alpha Protocol is a weird one, principle sounded ok (new Deus Ex), it got mediocre reviews saying it had potential but didn't execute on it, then there was some kind of backlash from gamers saying actually it is a half decent game. I got it free from Dixons Downloads and wasn't impressed, dodgy controls and outdated graphics, didn't feel compelled to play it more than once.

As for people stopping dodgy downloads I think there are a few factors:

1) The addiction and desire to 'collect' everything that comes out wears off, people realise that they are spending too much of their time managing it all, needing to constantly add new disks/DVDs
2) People get richer and can afford to buy all the games that they genuinely want to play
3) Many ISPs have introduced usage caps
4) As mentioned it is a lot more mainstream now so people probably get less sense of being 'elite' for being in on an FXP ring or whatever, as everyone else is getting the same stuff from P2P and newsgroups.
5) The price of games has fallen a lot in real terms
6) More and more games are making use of online components which often require a unique key
