Just went xfire

Ive just installed a second 5850, i just put the card in and connected the bridge, ticked xfire in ccc.

ive had a quick go of bc2 and it seems to be working, this is my first time xfiring, is there anything else i need to do like download profiles of something.

Make sure you have the latest driver package installed and install the latest Catalyst Application Profiles as these are mostly designed for Crossfire use.

You can confirm Crossfire is working:

Right click the ATI icon in the system tray, goto the top GPU > Crossfire settings > Show crossfire logo​

When Crossfire is working the logo will appear in the top right hand corner of the screen. You'll likely only see this in a game.

There shouldn't be.

You can confirm Crossfire is working with the method I put in my first post.

I believe Crossfire only works in full screen mode.

Run a gpu benchmark such as 3d mark 11 or Heaven with crossfire disabled and again with it enabled to see what kind of performance increase you're getting, the results should reassure you that crossfire is working ok.
