*** League of Legends ***

Perhaps I should find a more newbie friendly jungler than noc, because my main issue is that I have no trouble jungling but by the time people expect me to gank I'm level 4 (5 if lucky) with some lifesteal and the cloth armour, if I wait until I have enough for basic boots and grab a blue buff first I get shouted at for not ganking sooner, yet if I gank sooner I can't do much as they can just run off to avoid me as a level 4 noc doesn't do much without teammates that can CC.

Wait for them to push past the river, use ur trail more for its movement speed than as an actual attack to get in behind them (aim it to compensate for them trying to run away)... get ur fear on them as soon as u are in range... If at this point they flash away then this was a successful gank.... leave the lane and come back in a minutes time

I don't know why but I just failed so hard as jungling last night. Really couldn't get my act together.

Enjoying Vlad again as I've said think I'm going to main him again, such a good champ.

I've been playing with Yorick and Annie too often, out of the current freebies, who should I give a go?

I'd like a bit more versatility than just AP and AD Melee.

Gangplank for a top lane/jungler and Janna if you want to learn support, although she's probably the hardest support to play.

This weeks free rotation is pretty weak tbh. I was looking and there's pretty much no one I'd be interested in trying.

I dont' know if you've tried him already but have a go with Dr.Mundo, he's awesome! You don't really build for ad/ap as all his skills are based around having a health cost and they scale up in damage pretty nicely all by themselves, so you can focus pretty much entirely on items that boost your health/health regen/armour/magic resist/cooldowns/auras. I don't think he's classed as a tank but you sure can take a lot of damage and deal it out also.

Mundo with spirit visage, warmogs, atmas, merc treads as core items is so much fun :D Cleaver sound has got to be one of the most satisfyng in LoL

Just had a game with Janna, forgot that I don't mind playing support, was running Aegis of the Legion and Stark's Fervor and hugging Ashe like mad. Howling Gale and Monsoon are really versatile.

Will give Mundo a go in a bit.

Hmmm... he's a bit too risk vs reward for my playstyle, lol.

So I have decided to add a support (that doesn't need to be fed) to my repertoire, who is considered strongest?

Taric - he is amazing all game in my opinion. Has a high CD Heal/Stun but you can really dominate your lane with him. He is very tanky also depending how he is built so in team fights you can get in there, CC their main carry and do a fair bit of damage while buffing the team with your ulti.

Soraka - Amazing support imo, one of my favorites. Infinate lane sustainability with her mana regen for you and a partner, her heals also, her silence, her global heal all amazing. She is great for during a team fight chucking some heals but in my opinion her best bit is after a team fight healing everyone so you can push.

Sona - she is great, she does a fair bit of damage with her Q, can heal but not as well as Soraka, she is all about buffs and needs to stay alive, her ulti is game changing in my opinion, their team all grouped together? NP ulti them and watch them die.

Janna - great offensive support imo, her cc by form of knock up is great. Her ulti if used well is epic and can save your whole team or kill them if used wrongly.

I use Taric and Soraka.

Personally I prefer Taric and Sona. Soraka is the easiest support to play but she gets weaker late game. Supports vary in 'who is best' depending on who your lane partner/team comp is but in general you cant go too wrong with taric and sona :)

So Dota2 has a $1million prize pool for their tourney...
LoL has $5million lol.

Yeah, that's $5m for the whole year, not one tournament :) Pretty awesome nonetheless!

For any of you N.Irish League players, there is a tournament up in Londonderry on 27th that Zenonthestoic is attending to shoutcast on, don't have details at the moment at work, but will amend tonight at home! (Or check Reddit leagueoflegends subreddit, it has details on there)
