2012 Honda Civic

Just been looking at the new Honda Civic & i must say it looks terrible, it honestly looks like it was made back in early 2000, the backend put me in mind of an old Toyota Celica.

The last Civic in my book looks great & still looks better than most new designs on the road today, but this erm no.

I prefer it to the FN2 but as you said it does look pretty bland. I never liked the FN2 anyway.

Also why are car makers mounting wing mirrors on the actual door. It looks rubbish.

That's the US version though, or are they literally going to be the same car?

It's under camo but it looks to be the same body to me, but at least it doesnt have those stupid door mirrors.

edit: actually i'm not sure now. it's hard to tell from the spy shots but i think that's a hatch like the current uk civic?

Wouldn't surprise me, a lot of manufacturers are doing basically the same car with a few minor differences for US/UK/EU/Japan etc now to save money on manufacturing costs.

It's a saloon, the UK civic is a hatch, this is therefore the American version, so stop crying.

Looks like it takes cues from the CRZ which can't be a bad thing imo.

It's a Honda, of course it looks rubbish.

I bet it's a lovely place to be though, and a great car to drive
