Just sold my laptop on ebay, but it now. The perosn who purchased it made their account today and has requested payment details on a buy it now? surely they could just pay like you normally woudl do through buy it now?

Bit of help because i havnt sold many items on ebay.

tell them to click on the left 'Purchase History' in the 'My Ebay' section, there they will see the item(s) they have purchased or won, they can pay for it from there using paypal or one of the other methods that you might have aloud them to use.

See im not sure on this invoice stuff, my other purchases were as follows:

Listed item
opened email after a period of time, emai lreads "you have recieved payment for blah blah blah" then followed the other stuff and printed the label ect and sent it off.

But what worries me most is that they ask how much they owe me? but the price is right there in fron of them

Hi seller am very glad that i won your item on ebay i like to see the claer picture of the item also get back to me with your paypal money request or paypal email address so that i can make the payment as soon as i receive your paypal email address send it to my paypal account [email protected] best regard

does that look odd to you?

Do not ship with anything other than full tracking.
Do not ship to nigeria, or anythign else. It is very very odd that the account was created that particular day, and the email just looks like randomly generated rubbish.

It does sound very didgy, but could be legit.

This looks like a typical email usually from Nigeria (The wording).

I could be wrong though.

I can tell you right now the seller is dodgy, do not send, forget about the listing.

I havent sold on ebay for ages, as it has got really ****, but I do know when you create a listing you can make buying preferences, I think theres one that blocks people registered for less then x days.

Re list the item and make sure you put the buying preferences on to stop bogus bidders like this one. You can create a non paying dispute later to get your final value fee back.

Right, phoned up ebay customer support, what a massive load of good that was, tried phoning this guy, no answer, dont even think its a real number. Waiting for a reply, then re listing it

just relist it,sounds very much like a scam to me.

relist it and make sure you make it clear that anyone without 20+ feedback not to bother.

new member today and they buy your laptop !

scam written all over it.
