*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

Im a big fan of KOTOR one and two, but a total MMO noob, I think I will definitely give this a try, but will have to do so knowing full well that im not investing enough to get the best out of it. Desperate for my dose of this universe again, but dont want to be one of the 'storyline over MMO gameplay' players that seem to be ruining a treasured genre.

Just approach it with what ever attitude you want, don't worry about how you should play the game. Its a game, not a job :p

Aww 8man/16man operations having different loot, aka 16 has better.
Had a guild full of 8 rl friends too, guess I'll shove them all in the ocuk one? Most of us are pretty hardcore players from days gone by but also like to just chill casually.

No one knows, but lots seem to speculate between mid October to early November.

Welcome to join up mate, but I'm not even sure what's happening with it yet since we haven't even got a guild registered on the official website and currently just have a forum.

Has no one made a guild yet?

Also, give beta please :(

Total Biscuit has defiantly changed his turn with TOR, a few weeks back he didn't have one nice thing to say about the game. SWTOR has the worst community and EA and Bioware are a bunch of thieves (we all know that) now all of a sudden he is doing stuff with Steven Reid doing interviews at Games Con.

A very different story Mr Biscuit... oh yes that hat looks ridiculous

If you listen to his guild wars 2 videos, he actually says that GW2 will be his mmo of choice.

Can I just say cheers for all the videos, links and beta reviews. Very helpful.

I'm still looking for a gameplay-only review, but hopefully I'll get into the September weekend-events to see for myself;)
