31lb pike....

Is that shopped in it looks a bit silly to me but is there any evidence to prove its BS.

I'm not discrediting the guy just for my personal knowledge :p

cheers

Nice fish btw...

In my opinion - No.

The shadows look spot on, the reflections - the edges etc all look OK.

I can see why people might think it's shopped - as the fish looks a bit fake.

That being said, the fish itself could be a prop - plastic or rubber and the photo is not shopped ;)

Obvious shop is obvious.

Look at the curve at the bottom from the tail to the fin, there are definite straight lines. The top of the fish on the right hand side is distorted and the gap between his mates hand looks dodgy.

Not sure if you can hold 31lb in one hand like that and would be wiggling around all the time if it was real which would probably make it necessary to have two hands on it.
Also the right arm looks a bit weird.

His other hand would be holding it in the gills on the side you can't see. There's also the stretch of his t-shirt from the fish against his chest. The back looks fishy (hurrr) but that might just be the camera.

Definatly shopped, look at the fish' tail fin. You can see were hes edited out something and were hes holding the fish on his arm it goes in too much.

The way his index finger curves around the top of the fish, combined with the flex of the fish against his forearm, all leads me to the conclusion that his friend is definitely shopped in.

But not the fish.

Am I the only one that thinks the top of the guys body that is holding the fish does not match the bottom.

The top looks way too wide and the top is also a darker shade than the bottom.

Am I the only one to think the lighting is SOOOOOO off.

Look at the face of the fish. The sun seems to be coming from top left, around 45 deg, from the photographer. On looking at the face of the guy in front, , the sun seems to be coming from the middle/right of the photographer. If that was the case, there would be a bit of light on the rest of the fish.

Also, the guy holding the fish, where is his right hand :confused:

Last thing, he is holding the fish, I assume it is a bit slippery so he needs to grab it well. Yet there seems to be no preassure marks (where the skin goes in) on his finger. It seems like the fish is rock hard, which it ain't.

Defo fake.

EDIT: Another bad shadow. Look at the bottom of the fish, now look at the shadow casted on the guy's shirt. The fish's bottom is a bit circular, yet the shadow on the t-shirt is straight. This does, once again, prove my opening point, where I said that the sun seems to come from one side, and thus, the shadow will still be taking the shape of the fish, but a bit more to the side. The shadow shows none of this.

EDIT 2: Now look at the guy behind, he has his hand on the guy in front. If the light was coming from the left of the photographer, the amount of shadow on the front guy;'s shirt would be less (something like I was saying in edit one) but it seems like to be coming from mid-right with the amount of shadow on the front guy.

That end of the tail doesn’t look quite right and this guy’s right hand must be very flat or he’s a spastic.

Definitely something fishy about it. I would say it's 'shopped - seaing it zoomed in, the fin-ish of the edges give it away. I hope the guy who made it gets caught!
