lol I will see what I can do over the next day or so. :)

Might have to take a shortcut and find a cow mesh though.

Should be good for a laugh.
 
That's easier. I was never much good at skinning cars with flat textures though and the results were usually pretty poor. Mind you so were my full mesh 'cars' but they were all just for fun.

Just had a few games. It's just as addictive as Nations :D

Can't wait till more user generated tracks appear.

Tired now so going to bed and will play some more tomorrow night :)
 
You sure you wouldn't like a cow as a car? Don't comment on the UVW unwrapping as I didn't spend amy time doing it.

Anyway I found a decent cow texture but forget how to get it to show up. Last time I did it was back when TMS first came out. Most cow texture images have watermarks on them which is dissapointing.

Hey folks, I quickly skimmed the thread, am I right in my understanding that the game is out on preorder on Steam and if you preorder you get access to multiplayer beta?

Can this be purhcased via physical media? Or is it digital only?

The game isnt on steam as far as i know, Bt if you buy it from the Ifficial website then you can start up the beta right away as your download has finished.
 
They haven't announced anything about doing via steam and I don't think they'll be in a rush to add as they already have a shop/data delivery sorted. With a bit of luck steam will accept their key later on if they ever add it, that was the case with TMU.

There are some nice tracks starting to crop up now .. :)

I like it and feel even though I've had it for less than a week it's already justified the £20 more than a lot of games I've bought.
 
ok so when does beta close? or does it run right up to release? think i might go and get it tonight but dont want to buy it to find out that 2 days later beta is closed and i should have just waited for retail release.
