Won about 4 games in a row last night with link.

Just rofl stomping scrubs, with caitlyn and amumu.

So much laughter and banter makes me love this game and community even more.

Cheers for the fun guys.

On another note, if anyone is serious about getting a team going. Me and link are up for it.

Mic, and skillz and dedication needed. as if we are good enough. i want to win some moneyz. :D

Do you mean the AI game you select from the game selection or creating a custom and adding AI. If the latter, those AI are hard pressed to have any AI skills, if the former then they're better but still very poor. Not trying to dissuade you from your choice but if you are worried about going with humans join a custom game where people are testing champs.

Beating the AI unfortunately really won't give you any idea on whether you are good or not, or even tbh how you will play her. I can take any champ and pwn the AI. Against humans I have only a few I feel comfortable with

Too bloody true, got pwned in a proper vs game.

Perhaps Janna or Taric would be better choices, from what I have read Lux is more AP than Support any way.
 
Can't echo what people have said already. The only thing I tried against bots is my jungling route other than that every champ I've played first time has been online against real people.

Stop playing with randoms!!! There are no good randoms in the entire world they are all feeders and if u play with them its ur own fault ;)

I have also been considering buying lux in the few games i have had as her while she is free but i really should buy myself another rune page instead of more champs
 
Lux is not bad but every time I see her picked I think to myself why couldn't they have taken annie/brand/gragas/ap-of-the-month. She's OK and her poke isn't bad but I think there are better options for AP currently.
 
Hmmm, got a new monitor (22" from ocuk) and while its great and a higher res than my old one, running it at 1920x1080 give such a narrow fov (heightwise if that makes sense) in lane that its really hard to position my camera right to be able to see my char and the opposition at the same time.

Will have to try a lower resolution ingame tonight and see if it makes any difference, otherwise its back to playing on my old monitor for lol :(

I hate playing for the purple team for this reason, I have more visibility when walking up than I do walking down.

If the viewing angle was exactly overhead (like the first few GTA games) then it would be fine, but the angled view coupled with the information bar at the bottom messes up my view. Come at me (bro) from the sides or the top and I am fine, come from the bottom and I don't fair too well for some reason.
 
Played Cho yesterday for the first time after IEM and man that guy is so ownage. I was fighting for about a min with people going on and off me and I still had loads of health, I wouldn't say I carried my team but I was a major factor to our victory, no one believed it was my first time though because I was apparently a good Cho... Also I guess the Gentleman Cho skin didn't help :D

Been playing Nasus too after getting that Gamerscon skin, he is a really good champ imo.

lol we have to play together - I don't recall ever seeing the Gentleman cho skin.

Are you still using the locked camera view by any chance? That downwards visibility issue was what made me switch to the unlocked camera myself and I'm glad I did since it's just infinitely better in terms of controlling your champ and being aware of what's going on around you and around the map as a whole.
 
Gentlemen Cho'Gath is probably the best skin in the game. The first time I saw it I could hardly play because I was laughing so hard. The sound files are brilliant!

I play corporate mundo for the sound files, it never stops amusing me. Of course, the cleaver becoming a suitcase and the trail of papers falling out is just classic.

For Animations it's Mundo for me, for sound files it's Cho but Mundo's new voice files crack me up.

Brolaf I think is gay and annoying.
