So in America these have all been sold off for $99 as hp have discontinued them, they are now down to £89 in the uk at the purple shirt store.

Now in the states owners are getting refunds for the difference in price or a full refund from hp, is it worth buying one on amazon at 350 tonight and hoping for the same refund in the uk?

I think it could be worth the punt, if not I can always DSA it...

Just thought I'd share for anyone interested

There is a huge thread in the Mobile Phones section of the forums. Most of you have missed the online reductions, but theres still Argos, Tesco, Staples, Play and Amazon to reduce theirs.

No they are still listed at full price on the rainforest, but as soon as they go down in price they will sell out, I'm thinking of buying at 350, guaranteeing I have it and then taking the refund (I hope!) or DSA ing it if I can't get the refund in price difference

If you look at the where in the world website they have already reduced their price but sold out, with some stock in bricks and mortar stores

People that return it, otherwise it's difference in price paid. Sod it I've ordered one at 350, if I don't get the difference refunded I'll send it back for full refund :)

Hang on... you want to buy one at full price and hope they pay you the difference between that and presumably £89... instead of buying one for £89.

I say get the full price one. It's a no-brainer!

The reduced price ones sold out in seconds. Some companies have said they will honour the price reduction if you buy it full price while there is still stock left.

Rainforest order confirmed at full price, I'll get some sort of refund either way :)
Looks like my gf has just got a cheap tablet to play with!
