I'm just saying in general mate and I agree everybody has an opinion. I just think what ever they do and it goes with any game, people are never going to be happy.
Explain what "innovative gameplay" GW2 has(I haven't followed it as much as Tor).
Chris touched upon a few things above, but really this video is a lot better than anything I can put in words:
Everything being said though, they're very different MMOs, the only reason I've drawn comparison is that ArenaNet are taking things to a new and as yet unseen level of gameplay, whereas SW:TOR is tried, tested and very much the same as what we're accustomed to. I guess I can understand the reasoning behind it as other MMOs have dared to be different and failed (Age of Conan springs to mind), but I think it's a shame that such effort and money that's been sunk into the whole thing could have resulted in something nothing short of spectacular...
Anyway, thinking to the future, I think SW:TOR will still be successful for 3 reasons, 1. It's star wars!, 2. Epic story and 3. It's essentially Co-op KOTOR. However, I think GW2 has really raised the measurement bar for all the subsequent generations of MMOs, and as a result will have much more *positive* impact to the genre as a whole.
