Just played a game with some obvious smurfs on my team, the Teemo was friggin deadly, 2 pentakills!!

Second time playing Zilean, 3/5/18, really fun :D
 
i always feel worthless when i play zilean cos lets face it you cant really do any damage apart from your bombs so unless the rest of your team is good you cant really effect the game at all.

i think my fav caster is still heimer good burst dps and stun grenades you can usually get feeded because its not often you see him anymore so a lot of people arent using to playing vs him and just assume you have no dps
 
I tried Orianna again tonight after failing with her the first time... One of the games I was told I was one of the best Oriannas that he has seen (must have seen some really bad ones!) She is wicked, the amount of times I saved my team and initiated with her ulti was wicked, great fun champ.
 
I love Orianna, althought I've only played her a bit she is loads of fun and brings a lot to the team. However now that people have learnt to play her properly they will nerf her.

Also just to end the night on a bitter note was in a team where twitch was just blatantly trolling. Now I don't really like the term but I actually cant think of anything more appropriate. Starts with a mana crystal and just does the weirdest stuff but worst of all intentionally feeds too just to top it all off :rolleyes: that plus being on a losing streak whilst trying to pick Irelia up has frustrated me somewhat!

ps. her ulti is nerfed way too hard

i usually manage a 1K:D ratio on her but shes really hard to play for me i only bought her cos i played versus someone with her on mid once and she seemed a bit op

we would have lost if i didnt though as leblanc was 10/1 after 16minutes and during team fights everyone focused gragas and garen :( i told them to focus leblanc and jax down but no one would listen i hate teams like that

The thread would be far better off if you just stopped posting in it. You have ruined yourself far too much for any of us to give a **** about what you have to say anymore.
 
Not been online much this past week between playing at UK Nationals for another game I play and my graphics card deciding to blow up. Got a new card arriving today hopefully, so should be back online tonight/tomorrow.

Talon, the Blade's Shadow

Noxian Diplomacy: Talon viciously stabs his enemy, dealing heavy physical damage and causing them to leave a blood trail that Talon can use to track them.
Rake: Talon fans out three blades in front of him that quickly return to him, dealing damage and slowing any target hit in either direction.
Cutthroat: Talon leaps behind his target and silences them for a short duration, amplifying the damage of any of his follow up attacks and abilities.
Shadow Assault (Ultimate): Talon enters stealth for a short duration, gaining a movement speed boost and sending blades that deal damage to all enemies in their path flying in every direction. Well I'm trying to get away from PUGs, so it doesn't matter as much :p

Put some work time and resources to good use this morning to work out some early level Zilean numbers.

I wanted to see what difference starting with Doran's Ring would make over getting the Faerie Charm to build to Philo Stone.

At level 3, and keeping Time Bomb at Level 1, you can cast TB 7 times before going OOM (based on an unrealistic assumption of casting as soon as it is off cool down) with the Faerie Charm, for a total of 641 dmg.

Switch to Doran, and the increased mana regen lets you cast it 8 times before going OOM, and the additional AP means total dmg is 840.

So if soloing, Doran is the way to go, but I think building the gold/5 items asap is a better choice when duo laning.
 
Have you tried the big Z mid lane? I normally go mid now when playing pre made and one of the worst champs I have to play against is Z, he can push the creep wave like a baws and he can harass like a baws :(
 
I approve of the support changes.
Now its about healing at the right time in the right moment, requiring a smart decision rather than just spam healing and making the lane phase too sustained and boring.
 
TB does horrific damage in the early to mid game and the impact of people losing 50% hp within a few seconds when trading hits is pretty strong. Timebomb level 1 does 90 damage or just under 2 auto attacks making it barely worth casting. You'd likely be better off using TB1 once then going TW/TB for a lvl 3 QWQ combo (costs just over 200 mana) and start to punish them for coming forward in your lane. Now that sustain is nerfed pretty hard they will either have to blow ~2 pots to regen that or face hanging back for a bit.

It depends what role you are looking to take with Zilean (and what runes you're running) as to what items to build. If I'm soloing mid with Zilean I tend to build Dorans due to the increased survivability but its not unreasonable to build boots+pots and just go for last hitting+harassing with bombs.

I'd rarely build gp10 on Zilean unless I'm playing dedicated support on him but I don't think he works as a support in the current meta.

Yeah thats what riot say... everyone on the internet hates it but then they are internet forum trolls and there has never been a single change in the existence of everything that they have actually liked ;)

Having another game getting totally 1 hitted by an Annie i still dont understand how she goes patch after patch without getting nerfed. I would actually play her myself if i didn't feel so cheap when doing so! :D

Also liking the look of the new champ.... as per usual i have no IP so wont be buying him any time soon but after the next patch when he gets nerfed/buffed (depending on if he goes for the usual new champ totally OP or Riot desperate not to make an OP champ instead make an UP one) he may definitely be a buy

Depends if you want to do 28 more dmg (3%) for 22 (44%) fewer seconds in the lane. Doesn't seem worth it to me.
