TJ07 - Good for air cooling?

I'm using a TJ-07 for aircooling & it does a good job as long as you buy the optional front 5.25" bay with 120mm fan & swap around the rear intakes to exhausts.

The front looks like a £20 eBay job :o hides.

Budget £250

I think at the mo tj07 is a winner. But then I am gonna have to get everything painted on the inside GRRRR

This is a very pretty case, albeit quite an old one with sub-average cable management.

Alternative, if you can find one for about £280 (though they seem to be back up to £350 nowadays) is the LL x900b. Their flagship model and one of the most stunning air-cooled cases ever made imo.

You'll need to get the TJ07 custom painted if you want black internals, I believe some shops sell them pre-painted. But it's much more geared towards WC.

Yeah, TJ07 is a primarily watercooling case, but my mod project involves 'converting' the case for aircooling. The problem is that the intake and exhaust and really close to each other at the back which means that your CPU may get enough air, but your GPU/motherboard is going to suffer.

If you want it painted I would just do it yourself instead of getting someone else to. If you want it powder coated or anodized though that would need someone else.
