Again, that's not confirmation. The article may say it's confirmed, but they are using the same quote from Gabe that doesn't actually confirm anything at all.

:edit: If you actually look at what he's saying, it's typical good PR rubbish to whip up hype. Say a game might have this, might have that, say "It's certainly our goal", but never actually confirm anything so you're never a liar.
 
Night levels could be good they never seem to make use of that NV.

Gas grenades, new weapons, new maps, nicer graphics, proper 5v5 mode hopefully get CSS away from the god awful huge player maps, it does not suit this game its complete tosh and anyone that says otherwise obviously hasn't played it from the start. The game is meant to be 5v5 always has been and meant to be played properly.
 
Cross platform could ruin it you know. IE PC players get put a disadvantage to match console's controls. Slow mouse movement, auto-aim etc.

I think you'd be right about the hype thing if it was a developer such as EA but Valve have a very good reputation.

This game is mainly to fund their next up-coming game to be announced, CounterStrike 2 or HL Episode 3. Tapping into the console market was always going to appear sooner or later. :o

Well if it is confirmed then why hasn't he confirmed it? If he's not saying it's in then there's every possibility it's not going to be.

It could be that it is a achievement based co-op, in that you have to create a server and do a run through against bots, so not actually shooting at each other. Not what people expect, but offering cross platform
 
Just watched the trailer on steam, I cant believe they think we might be impressed with that, it looks like it came out 5 years ago. I know CS is not all about graphics but to make a game looking like that in 2011 just seems lazy.

Cue the haters hating because some small things have changed.

Like usual, it would seem most of the hardcore just want CS 1.6 with better graphics, which is why the hardcore should be partially ignored on the whole. Need some innovation.
