I have my CompTIA A+ Exams next week :S

Fairly confident going into it, have been doing atleast 3 hours revision a week since about 4 weeks ago. Starting tomorrow im going to go revision mad. :P i do like to go overkill mode when an exam matters.

After i pass my A+ (hopefully :P) i will be starting N+ which i have heard is rather simple but il get to that when i come to it.

At the moment i am on an apprentice scheme doing these exams, any server/network technicians here ? I would like to know what would be the best route for me to take. I have been looking in to a few of the Cisco and more advanced CompTIA certifcates but i just dont know where to go :P

Any help would be great cheers :D

Network+ won't be 'easy' if you don't have much knowledge of networking. If you're going on to the Cisco certificates, you could just take the CCENT (ICND1) or you could take the CCNA (ICND1 + ICND2). But if you don't have much knowledge of networks at the moment, take the Network+ (non vendor specific) to provide you with foundational knowledge of networks, and then move on to the Cisco certificates.

Best of luck with your A+.

EDIT:
Forgot to mention this... you're like many others who come and ask "Which certificates should I get?", but they don't actually know where they want to go with it. Do you want to be more of a networking guy? Or more of a servers guy? If you want to be more of a networking guy take the N+ and CCNA. If you want to be more of a server guy, take some Microsoft exams such as the MCITP; you should also consider taking the N+ as well, as it will help out.

Looking to do Networking

If you want to do more of the networking, then definitely take the CCNA and advance on to CCNP and from their specialise in something, such as voice, security, wireless etc.
