I am now 18 and have had problems with my mum, the only person I live with, since I was about 13. She has chucked me out before for several months and now instead of saying get out the house is threatening that when I come home from work the door will be locked, so I can't get in.

Question, if I was to kick the door (it would only be the chain lock) so that I could get in could I be arrested?

No jokes please.

Tar.

If you cant sit down and negotiate with your own mum, then you dont have much hope in life!

Why cant you sort the problem out without kicking her door down?

FFS, whats wrong with people these days?

"Im ****ed off with my mum, so im gonna smash her house innit"

Have tried the diplomatic approach, already been kicked out. I do actually still live at home when she doens't chuck me out. I am more worried that I go off to uni in less than 2 weeks and all of my belongings are there. Kind of need them when I am at uni.

You sound like a nice upstanding citizen - your mum must be so proud. I can't think for one minute why she would want to chuck/lock you out...

You're an adult now, you need to start acting like one.

Violence isn't the way to mend your relationship.

Yes this is for real. I have tried all sorts of things and the family have tried to help but nothing seems to work. She still threatens to lock me out of my own home.

Ok then, next question, anyone know how I can get a house/flat some where to stay for the next two weeks with all the stuff I own until I move to uni?
