Battlefield 3 Servers 50% Off Pre-Order

I'm up for this Delboy, not enough time to commit for hardcore clan stuff but I'm usually about for an hour or so an evening, sometimes quite late, more on weekends. Your plans sound compatible with my style :) I play for fun not kdr/stats

Send me an email in trust and I'll invite you to the group portal which i'm trialling to give people access to polls and keep up to date with the server ordering process.

There are still lots of GSPs out there who have not published their prices yet so we're just getting some ideas together.

12 admins thats great, we may even get 15 before the game is released the way its going. Hopefully all the people in that list are 100% certain, but we shall see.

Email received and invite sent to the group.

Myself and my gaming buddies are going to pull the trigger on a 64 man server. Bit of a pain in that we pay about a third of what MP are now advertising for, per slot.

Going to try and sweet talk them. If their servers run BC2 they should, more or less, be able to run BF3.

My current deal expanded to 64 slots would come in at less than £225 per year.

So you're with MP at the moment for a BC2 server and pay around a third of their advertised price for Bf3 - do let me know if you get a good discount!!!!

he wont ;) its a new game with big demand

bfbc2 is bfbc2 and bf3 is a whole new game.

might get a little off but i cant see anything much. suppose its worth a try.

I have confirmation that I will be getting a 64 man BF3 server. :)

I have just got 4 gaming servers for other games yesterday, going to set them up tonight.

suppose its worth a try.

Been with them for 6 years now and use to have a succession of dedi boxes as well. They said they might be able to sort one out last night though they don't advertise them. I am happy to pay a premium as some of my foerign members get lag sometimes and I have noticed our shared CPU hits 100% sometimes.

If your talking about the war pack deal MP had donthold your breath, i asked about changing current BC2 servers to BF3 and was told not a chance due to the high processing power needed on BF3.

If you can get a 64 man slot for £225/year (£19/month?) in the next few weeks then i'l eat my hand and post it on youtube.

So its any1 can buy into admin yes?

At the moment yes, I've set up an admin guide that I want everyone to agree to before handing over any dosh (its on our collaboration site) so that everyone understands what is required. If they don't agree then they will be removed from the list - there's nothing in the guide thats over onerous, just some simple common sense approach to adminstering a server. Failure to comply with even these simple rules will mean a revoke of admin privilages but VIP status would remain.

I will control overall admin. There is a large amount of trust being handed out here and as this is only a trial period we'll see how it pans out. I hope that everyone who has signed up knows and appreciates that fact. You will be responsible for running and administering a BF3 server with the goal of creating a fair, fun, well administrated server for people to play on.

The numbers are looking good so far, depending on remaining interest I may have to close availability to maintain reasonable numbers but so far we're looking at around 14 contributors. Most of which I know from steam anyway which is good.

I'd like to think it's less about buying admin and more about buying a server to play on, which is not administered by retards (yes, I have come across more than a few servers which have power hungry admins).

For example, Squark and I were playing the other day, we were in the same squad, but the squad was locked (neither of us locked it, must have been locked automatically). The admin asked us to unlock the squad, we did so, and then we both got slayed anyway.
