The only reason I'm looking forward to the XP event is so that it will shut people up about the 'leaked' perk/killstreak list. All you seem to hear while playing is idiots going on about it and when you point out that it sounds more retarded then MW2 they get all butthurt and defensive.

Best thing is that it marks the end of the summer holidays! :D No more children on my team going -18 even though they pulled host on their Tesco internet connection.

I'm hoping this will be good. As Black Ops got boring rather quickly with the multiplayer, even with the new map packs.

Currently I'm playing MW2 again. Less hackers on PS3 though, but it was quite funny - I logged on Sunday and played first thing in the morning looking to finish off my prestige, played a game of dom which was a hacked lobby (I didn't know at the time - apart from when it said Free For All when the game loaded up) - had fun for a bit jumping around with super jumps, fell through the world, primed and held a grenade to suicide - boom, 2+e0768 XP I jump 5 levels in an instant. :)
 
Same here Alrik, at least with this event we will pretty much have a clear indication what will be in the multiplayer part of this gameand what we can expect for the next year.
 
People can moan all they like, it's easier to make them mad :p It just starts to get annoying when people are passing around false information as if they know what they are talking about.

For all I know the list could be true, but after reading it I just believe it's a load of crap because some of them just sound really retarded like a suicide bomber death streak, juggernaut armor (it's in spec ops, but in MP? I doubt it) and then there are just some really over powered perks such as blast shield which effectively renders explosives and tactical grenades useless, then there is also a chopper gunner which drops off 4 care packages? It just doesn't sound right to me.

IW have said they want the game to be more focused on the weapons and not just about the airsupport.

Details of the hardened edition, tempted to order it as places have it at around £60, so it will be cheaper than buying all the dlc as it comes with 12 months elite membership.
 
Dont feel quite as enthusiastic about this game as I did with Cod4 and MW2. Have not even played MW2 for a couple of months now. Black oops wasnt too bad but got bored of that pretty quick, but I did like the fact there was no commando and hardly any tubing and quickscoping.
I think I will just wait a little while after the game is released and see what its like before I decide to buy it.

I posted the list originally on here as the latest "list" of rumours weather being true or not who knows.

But what is oddly different about it this time no matter how far fetched the perk/KS list may be, Activision hit Woody'sgamertag on youtube (he has a huge following) with a copyright infringement notice as soon as he put the video up with said perks and talking about them.

He was about to make the next video to talk about the KS but was advised not to.

So far these are the only vids (I know of) hit with an infringement notice by Activision and youtube is full of speculation vids on MW3.

So Alrik all I will say is don't count your chickens no matter how ridiculous they seem.

Probably preset classes and the M16 class has Stalker as the 3rd Perk and the MP5 has something else.

So it looks like that leaked perk list,that was removed by activision and said to be fake,could be true after all.
Bit gutted dead silence unlocks at rank 55!
 
Yep, some of them like the Osprey Gunner are just silly! I do like the idea of Assault, Support and Specialist killstreaks though.

But you never know with IW........
