Spec me an eye catching PC

I need a PC to show off in a shop window.

It doesn't have to have any grunt whats over. If the fact that having components inside makes it look better, i wouldn't have even bothered.

But I do need nice looking internals and have them shown off, so a clear windowed (large window) case.
Lights, LED fans, coloured water cooling pipes. etc.

Don't want to spend too much as it will just sit in the window, and would like it as energy efficient as possible as it will be on 12 hours a day. As i said performance is a non-issue.

I've been looking around for cases but none have really caught my eye.

a cheap pc just for looks can usually be hard to come across as most good looking parts are either flimsy crap, or the best money can buy.

it is one of the strangest builds i've come across :P i guess you need to give a price too.
well, you would have to spend more than usual to get watercooling into the case, but i would say an am3 build would be sufficient with a single core sempron in it.
you could then get a crosshair IV motheboard for looks. (red and black would go well in this case)
get some g-skill ripjaws (red) just need low capacity ones (cheapest you can find)
a 450-500w corsair builder psu would work well in this.
a 6000 series reference 6850 would fit with the theme nicely. for a cooler, a pre built loop (H-50) would preobably be the best looks for price, and you could bang on a cheap 120mm red glowing fan.
the case could be any with a nice large window (650d?) , and bang some of hte same fans in it as on the cooler.
i would also say a HAFx, but that is expensive (but goes best with the theme)

if its not bein used cant u just run the light and fans from a battery pack? get a standard mobo with a decent cooler mounted? get a case with a 1/2-1/4 size window so u dont see any bays, psu, gfx card etc......£300 quid max on that imo.

Yes I can.
And I probably should do that. sounds a much better option actually.
Just connect them all to a 12V adapter I guess.

Level 10 is nice, but I would still prefer a case with practically the whole side a window. Too many just have a small window

If you're looking for an... unorthodox look?

Tall and imposing, can imagine it with blue LEDs shining from the inside, I think it would look quite attractive!

Sort of like Lemin suggested but in black and red. Not my favourite (slightly tacky) but it might definately catch some eyes!

Perhaps for the wrong reasons again :P
