*** London Meet - Saturday 17th Sept Please Confirm ***

Could someone point me in the right direction of a place to stay for the evening which is fairly central and that has parking.

I'd be travelling down from Nottingham and don't have any idea of the area the meet is taking place at :)
 
lol I need to find out what my friends are doing first. If they drop out it will just be me (scary!) so I will then have to find somewhere.

But I did say to Mischief ages ago that I'd share with her if I was staying over (in a non lesbian way of course)

I'm sure I can find a room big enough for your friends too /smooth.

I'd be coming on my own too so I think we should team up to look after each other :cool:

I meant good plan about looking after each other but I didn't mean I'd share accommodation. After all, you're a boy :p

I found a few places last night. Will post the links when I'm on laptop later
I'm still yet to confirm the itinerary I.e. where we are eating but it will still be around the same area :)

Put me back as a maybe, it'll depend on funds.

I'm in Crawley for football in the afternoon, but may swing by wherever you end up in the evening.

Will you be keeping an update on this thread of where you are throughout the day so I can pop by if I'm still standing when I get back to London? :)
 
Oooh this is next Saturday! Certainly has come around quick!

Should still be ok for this, I've (once again) had a stupidly expensive start to the month but I've got a wedding deposit heading my way so this shouldn't be an issue I don't think!

Miss Spy: Any idea of the time you're aiming to kick this thing off at? You might have given hints in the thread but if you have I've obviously missed them and there's nothing in the OP about it.

I'm still planning on coming along if I can but I probably won't be able to confirm until next week anyway.

Yaaaaay! \o/ :D :)

Might i make a suggestion w/regard to venues? Having prematurely turned into an old man, i've long since gotten tired of screechy-loud clubs and the like, so would prefer our establishments of choice to be on the quiet-ish side. better for conversation anyway :D

Obviously, if the majority want Über-loud then that's okay though. :)

To answer all recent questions, phone signal permitting on the day I will keep an update on where we are.

Start time I think the last was around 3/4pm so around the same time I'd say. I need to confirm with my friend who is coming as to the time we can get there.

I removed zoo bar a couple of weeks ago. Verve bar has a dance area but its on a separate level from the main bar and I might still have the offer of getting money back for reserving so if we end up eating around that area we can always head there and see where people want to move on to :) I'm on phone at mo so will have a proper look tomorrow.

I have to say I agree with this, but I'm thinking a quieter venue to begin with, since once we've all got a few drinks in us a bit of dancing will be in order. I got smooth moves.

edit: Does this even make sense? Haven't put my head on yet. Kaffe needs moar kaffe.
