My Sony Vaio laptop charger broke so I ordered a new one off:

http://www.pcsdesktop.co.uk/

after typing in the chargers specifications on google, I realise this was a stupid way to go about getting my new laptop charger as Ihave now just purchased one off play.com that is right.

Anyway, I recieved a charger from the above website that was wrong, I then emailed them to let them know it was not right to which they replied asking me to send it back to them (so I have the persons address) which I did. So now this person has my money and my charger and is not replying to any emails I send (also I had to pay to send the thing back!).

Hope someone can give me some advise as to what to do next, I was hoping to send a final warning to the person and then to report them to trading standards or something if this was possible.

I know it seems a lot of fuss over a little money but im a student and need everything I can get!

Hope someone can help!!
Thanks!:D

When did they receive the charger back from you? Did you send it recorded?

A refund will take a couple of days at least to process and clear in to your account.

If it's barely been over a week then I'd cool it a bit before you start firing off warnings about trading standards.

Its been weeks and weeks, I didnt get annoyed that quick, infact I was patient and trusting and didnt bother ordering a new charger and went for weeks without my laptop. I cant find a phone number for them otherwise I would have rang which is annoying.

I sent it back first class, but dont think I had it recorded unfortunatly but I dont believe it didnt make it otherwise im sure they would have emailed my back telling me so.

I looked at the place on google street view seems to just be a house most likely one guy opperating it who has decided sending me it is to much hassel for a small purchase and decided if he ignores it, it will go away. Im not even bothered about the charger just refund me what I paid for it I dont care about the money it cost to send it back ect... so fustrating but thanks for the advise! :D

i was expecting to read you had been conned for a few hundread, not a £12.99 refund :D

as mentioned above if you sent it recorded as you should have then trackit and call them with the tracking info.

Yeah I realise how stupid ordering off them was! But I just wanted a new charger without giving Sony £50 for one and jsut googled it which was stupid. To be honest the mistake came when I purchased an over price Sony Vaio so mistakes have been made but even so I want my money back!

Doesn't look much like a proper retailer, either, but then I guess online sellers use their houses nowadays?

Thats not to address I was given to send it back to but it was a Chesterfield one. Paid on a debit card, is it possible to do that? Im assuming not, I might go into my bank ask them if theres anyway they can help me but im assuming there isnt.

I mean if I have to cut my losses its a ball ake but ill get over it and make sure they companys bad mouthed everywhere I can on the internet. I actually visit Chesterfield sometimes so if I go in the near future ill pop round to the address, although it doesnt look like the most friendly place haha!

There's another company by the name of 'Click APC' (or maybe 'Click a PC') registered to that address.

I've tried looking them up in our company credit scoring program we have here and I can't find mention of any of those company names, so they're trading aliases. I've looked on their website and there's no mention of the actual company name, which is illegal AFAIK.

I think this is a case of live and learn and be thankful you only lost £13.

I can't believe you would order anything from that website. It looks like a 6 years attempt at playing with Joomla!

It's not even a company logo.... it's just the name typed out in weird font with a spelling mistake to top it off.

As mentioned. Just post him some dog ****

Oh and if you ever see your £13... I'll double it for you!

i can offer no help at all, but I read your username under the thread title as locked and thought the thread was locked, thats all I had to say.

"Can you please send us your order ID: so we can process the refund for you.
Kind regards"

Who promised to double my money? haha

Thanks for all the advise/ridicule (which I most likely did deserve)
