New PC VGA - DVI Cable

I have just ordered a pre-built PC with a new monitor, as I plan to dual screen now, but I have realized my current monitor has a vga port, now usually when buying a graphics card by itself you would usually get a adapter cable with it I am just wondering whether I would get this cable with my new PC.

The reason I ask now is because my PC is arriving today and I have set the day aside to get everything set up.

Generally you would get a cable with the monitor and an adapter with a video card.

If your pre-built PC has a gfx card, it will usually come in the box anyway, as fitting them in the pc is not good for transport.
But you will get ALL the cables ect that you would have got if you built it yourself.

Edit, someone should do a pre-built unboxing video.

what graphics card did you get? some (not all) will come with a DVI-VGA adapter, but i havent heard of graphics cards coming with cables.

you can find DVI -> VGA cables incredibly cheaply in most places if you need one though

I meant all mobo cables ect, but last 2 gfx cards i got had two 4pin to 6pin adaptor cables.

My mistake I did mean a adapter, I am getting the GTS 450, but from what I have read I expect I will get a adapter with it, if not I will just use one monitor until I get the adapter.

with my Asus GTX 460 i got a DVI to VGA and a DVI to HDMI. (i also got a two molex to PCIe 6 pin adapter with it)
