Crysis1 coming to consoles Oct 2011!!

It looks as good as any other console game to me.

The game itself was not exactly a classic.

I mean all of the review score they quote in the trailer are not exactly from respected gaming sources.

Because of the cheating and generally rubbish AI you spend nearly all of the game cloaked, moving a bit, waiting for it recharge and taking out enemies as you went. All of the other suit powers were useless because they didn't last long enough to be effective. Then just as you might be extracting some enjoyment out of the game the aliens turned up to really show that Crytek learned nothing from the mistakes they made in FarCry. Then they sank even further with those zero mavity levels inside the alien ship.
 
Crytek probably had a lot of requests for the game to be released on console. I can't see the problem myself, it will make them lots of money, will cost much less than a new game to make, isn't too difficult to do and keeps the console crysis fans happy.

Plenty of people in the pc gaming section of this forum would love for consoles to blow up and die. Pretty sad imo, ***** need to grow up.

Crysis is crap, the only thing it has going for it is amazing graphics, so with crap graphics on the console the game will be SUPER ****.
 
crysis 2 was painfully boring, the series died after warhead for me.

I found the first game really epic, not so much the story but the backdrop was amazing.

tI bought crysis 2 on xbox and had to return it because it was such a muddy / chuggy mess, dread to think how the first will perform even after cutting the grass.

That would e nice, except that the PC never gets the majority of decent console games.

Everyone loves multiplatform games when its PC games being ported to consoles, but when its done the other way around the games tend to be absolutely terrible on the PC, and decent console games never get a PC prot.

Also, multiplatform games that are made for both the PC and Consoles ALWAYS tend to be be far worse in terms of both gameplay and graphics than they would be if they were PC only. Consoles really do hold gaming too far back, in terms of both gameplay and graphics.

Agreed. Games like Crysis, Far Cry, and Metro are nothing but graphics benchmarks for eye candy whores. Reducing them down so that they run on consoles simply turns them from crap games that look good, into crap games that look crap.

Well it just proves that CR2 was made with consoles in mind first and foremost the as difference is far less between the platforms.

And even with the Hi res pack the texture still look low, its only the lighting that saves it and that's why i use the BlackFire textures.
 
Also noticed the vales on the oxygen cylinders are the wrong way around & not connected to the pipes with the shadows wrong.
