Is your video card good enough for that kind of resolution? I personally have the Hanss G 28". Cheap and cheerful but it does the job.

I'm so torn between the 750 and 850 but it says matt finish, does this mean no glossy screen if it does that makes my mind up, as i love glossy screens.

It uses a low haze matte screen surface which is some way between glossy and 'LG panel' matte. A glossy screen wouldn't make much sense for the SA850's primary market.

so digitally it'll be fine.
