9/11; Never forget.

Bigger disaster's happened which are more greater than this, too much hype over this event. I don't know why so much focus is on this event rather than the tsunami where more people have died.

You are frankly a bloody idiot (and i'll take the ban that goes with saying that) if you really cant comprehend the sheer man-made scale of what happened 10 years ago today.

There is live footage of large planes flying into large buildings.

If you think it is somehow wrong to take a moment to remember that and the sheer scale of destruction and loss of life then fair enough, i cant imagine why you would though.

Seems im confused here, i thought a US military base is US land?

Surely?

Pretty sure they annexed Hawaii and all its islands in the 1800s...

God bless them all. Terrible time in our history. Terrible day for everyone to witness. Hope they rest in peace.

Good comeback.
You replied to me saying Pearl Harbour was in the Phillipines.

And Hawaii wasn't part of America until 1959 so 'America' wasn't attacked like 9/11.

RIP all who died.

I remember seeing the second plane hit the South Tower live on TV :(. Been to New York twice... once up the Twin Towers and once to Ground Zero.

the memorial is a great thing and should now help the moving on process for the families who have never had any trace of their loved ones found.

Pretty sure they were american ships with american crew. It would have been an attack on America wherever they were on this planet. I ship is sovereign territory.

I'm sorry for the loss of life of the people who died in the attacks, but some of the things that America has done since using the WTC attacks as justification are rather unforgivable. 92,000 civilian deaths in Iraq, and a few thousand for every year in Afghanistan, as a result of Americas actions somewhat tarnishes the whole affair.

Wheres the memorial services for the Iraqi and Afghan civilians who have lost their lives? Oh yeah, there isnt any, because apparently a couple thousand American civilian lives are vastly more important than a hundred thousand foreign civilians lives.

but of course, they kinda have to blow it out of all porportion, and etch the event in the minds of every one of their citizens, so that they continue to think that Americas foreign actions are justified and continue to support and fund their military.

+1

Couldnt have said it better...well said sir....saying that those people in the trade centers didnt deserve to die through no fault of their own.
