Any chance of taking some of the mickeymouse tracks off and more technical tracks?

The thing is, we have a few newcomers to Trackmania and I do not want to scare them off

Hit multiplayer, all servers. There's a little button at the bottom of the server list like a magnifying glass, hit it and type ocuk and press search.
Tried out some solo play last night, couldn't figure out how the ranking worked. I know you have to complete a track in ranked mode but there seemed to be no way of selecting it from the menu, I only got to select it after I completed the track in practice. It also didn't say if it cost anything or not. Can somebody explain how this works?
What are you on about? Are you trolling?
Have you played the series before?
I do not know ANYBODY who purchases this game for offline play specifically.

I'm 90% sure you can play without an internet connection anyway.. I'll test later.
But yeah, it's a multiplayer game. You kind of need internet.

To state the obvious - you can also do this once connected to the server from the escape menu.

It has no Ubisoft DRM. It's one time activation after which you can play offline.

The password is becoming annoying.
Any objections if I set the server to only allow users who are "approved".
That way, no password and we know who is playing
All it would take is a PM to myself with your Trackmania ID and job done
Or, if the majority prefer, will keep it as it is.

Can it be set to OcUK group members only?
Anyone who knows the pw to join that group can gain access to the server without needing the pw.
Also thx for pointing out how to add server to favourites, couldnt find it while in there, so just fired it up and entered the URL and closed it back down again. Maybe i hadnt spent enough time looking at the options in the esc menu, im usually going in looking for something in particular so maybe i was overlooking the option there.

I did a load of messing after posting last night, closed a load of stuff down and just left Afterburner on so i could watch temps, loads etc
The V-Sync issue went, and i got benchmarks from 400+ to 38fps on V.Nice. I had 60/60/59/58 beforehand, then somehow on V.Nice im getting worse results.
V.F = 400+fps with 50/50% usage on either card
F = mid 200s with 99/97% usage on either cards
N = 85fps with 99/97% usage on either cards
V.N = 38fps with 90% usage on GPU1, 55-80% usage on GPU2 (may have been other way around).
I've disabled CPU/GPU sync, i know that was something i messed with last night, putting it to 2. Im not against V-Sync or that CPU/GPU sync as long as the cap its giving provides smooth gameplay. I dont need 80-100+ frames, if 20, 40, or 60 is smooth as silk thats fine. But its certainly handy removing caps like those to understand performances. Cheers for pointing that one out. Doesnt seem to be influencing my scores though.
Nothing really seems to be making any sense, best i seem to be able to get from their benchmarks is 100fps & 42fps just from Nice & V.Nice and V.Nice still doesnt max out my GPU usage, im still only getting 55-75% on GPU1 and 90-84% on GPU2.
It'll max it for lower settings and be rock solid at 99/97% but V.Nice its like it takes it easy.
CPU Usage is light, boosts to 3.5ghz occasionally but the load on 1 core never gets beyond about 70%, 40-70% i'd say, the other 3 cores just seem to be watching, 25-40% load maybe. So the CPU isnt a bottleneck.
Clearly its working in crossfire because lower settings are being maxed on both cards, and yet when its needed most it doesnt show up. Im getting roughly 150% usage rather than the 200% i get on lesser settings.

Actually, thats slightly misleading, cos i'd just used RadeonPro to force some settings upon it, 16xEQ Supersampling AA & 16x AF, so its had a bit of a hit by forcing AA upon it.
Not really too impressed with these results though, i thought i was building my rig to get the best results for BF3, not TM2!
