All iPhone 5 speculation/rumours/wants thread

The main purpose behind these powerful processors is things like HDMI mirroring, etc. It's not something that is widely used and the current hardware can handle it very easily.

Quad-core sounds good but I'm not really sure what advantages it would bring for most people?

Also, this isn't the place to discuss the Galaxy S III.

I doubt the Galaxy S III is even being thought of yet, after all the iPhone 5 hasn't been released for them to copy yet ;)

yes but does that mean we should all run blinkered as to what the competition is up to , or are you steves jobs love child ... come on admit it ? lol :p him stepping down is nothing to do with his health its to do with a pay cut , so all his children dont sue for maintanance lol joke by the ay guys incase humor is not allowed in the thread ;)
 
The GS3 was only said as a part of this discussion to refer to the fact that Apple has hardware challenges as well to beat.

Also do not discount Android, once ice cream biscuit hits we will see a more focused unified OS from Google that will help the OS's view. Androids fragmentation was one of its biggest flaws to me and that's coming to an end soon and that makes me consider them more.
Also metro on WP7 is one slick cookie and mango is going to make it better and now add in Nokia who have some of the best hardware in the past who's out to prove themselves.

I think Apple cant do a small refresh of the iP4 and those are my reasons quickly before going off to do over time to pay for a new phone :D

there is nothing on android that you dont like , that cant be fixed by a software mod that someone else has done , oh one thing i have to add as well , and i am not dissing apple here they make lovely machines , but the build of the iphone etc is nice , but thats externally , you cant change battrey and a lot of people have had problems with home buttons and a few of my freinds will never buy apple again, its money money money , why dont apple provide a 2 year warranty for free when there products are so good ?
s2 has a very thin battrey cover that if damaged costs £3 pounds to replace iphone 4 ohhh dam baby . lol
And why didnt apple use gorrilla glass grrr my iphone had scratches just by looking at it lol

1) not eeryone wants to search for ages for mods to make their phone work
2)apple replaced my home button, no questions asked when it went faulty
3)they can charge for the warranty. I think they should give 2 yrs though
4)screen protectors - use them!

How many times does someone have to debate and argue over a damn phone for crying out loud just behave with the this is better because I am angry bash the keyboard bash bash bash smash smash smash type of debate.

It's already been said, these types of discussions have been done before and they don't come to a conclusion except people smashing their hands over the keyboard bashing away at keys for no reason at all.

Believe me I am a techno fan so I can use pretty much anything. I don't need it to be simple to like it I just would like it to look and feel nice and I don't feel it does.

The HTC and the samsung are suppose to be miles better in performance but yet the whole OS doesn't feel polished so it doesn't exactly display its more power. Thats all I dislike about it.

I think android has a major future but at the moment I think its GUI is bloody terrible.
