Vile Kids - What do you do?

Sometimes we have these kids coming down to one of my mates shop and cause him a lot of nuisance, for instance swearing and a little racial abuse at him too, now I have been a witness of such incident.

What do you do, do you slap them and then wait for them to come in a gang and smash your windows or call the police who are a joke, where do you go about it you can't hit these kids as they are around 10 to 14 year olds.

The thing is I have children of that age and believe me if my kids did such behaviour I'll be the first to give a clip round the ear, but I can't do that in a business as it will only invite more trouble than a solution for my mates business

Pretty much a well educated guess i suppose.

It's not so much that the police are useless, but they ARE under resourced and often too busy with paperwork!
