Nope, we have things called jobs and reponsibilities. Couple of smelly students want to go fight the corner for people who'd sooner nick of their grandmothers and not pay income tax, they're welcome to it. Me on the other hand, I've got more important things to do like progress in Dead Island or Deus Ex, while watching numpties on the TV.

The council made on offer to accommodate the travellers, travellers tried to delay until November and now the eviction is to go ahead.

I cannot believe how much positive support there is for the people on Dale Farm, it far outweighs support for the law abiding side seeking to evict.
Unwashed student protestor types amassing on social networking sites, screaming about "heading down there" and "building tent cities outside the council offices". Boils my balls, protesting for the sake of protesting completely oblivious to the fact the residents are in breach of civil laws which the vast majority of other people seem to be able to live by.
The well spoken, hard done by generation. Call them a wahmbulance already.

Hmmm, may not have been an appeal hearing, but a scheduled meeting with the council, it was on the bbc page but as they're updating the one page rather than creating new ones both that and mention of the press conference have now gone.There is no appeal hearing?
The eviction is going to happen, one way or another.
Edit: Police have apparently scheduled a press conference for noon, where they are expected to yet again ask the residents and protestors to leave peacefully. Basically ticking all the boxes and exhausting every peaceful avenue. They've been warned; send the bulldozers in, to be honest.
