What are your bets for this weekend?

in a desperate attempt to get back my dime. I am looking for all the teams that played Eroupa or CL and are playing today. Those at home i will give them a draw those away a loss. I don't even need to know anything about them!

I am tempted to place a stake on Everton at 8.00 to beat City....we have a great record vs them and those odds are mad.:p (plus i hope we maul them since they ruined my bet aswell as other people's!)

Anyone here think Ipswich vs Coventry over 2.5 a good bet tonight?

I am still very ****ed off about Torres, but i did quite well in a poker tournament last night so i'm going to refocus my efforts on to the midweek games.

I'll put something on the Brighton v Liverpool game, as i am going to it. Liverpool won't fancy this after the bad result yesterday and Brighton have so much confidence at the moment. This plus the atmosphere at the new ground and Liverpool being the biggest team to come here so far means i will be placing money on Brighton:D

I reckon a draw there, but I hope you're right!

By the way chaps, something to note:

Europa League games. Last few seasons the group games have been packed full of goals after the opening games and you'll get between 5/6 and 11/8 in most games. Last year I picked 10 and got 8 right (others were 1-1 and 0-0.. grr), £15 outlay - 8 got £45 back, 9 would've been £450, 10 would've been £4,500. It's achievable for sure. 1st group games this year there were 10 over 2.5 goals, 14 under 2.5. Not a great start there, but it will pick up.

I suggest 120 x 10p 7-folds, 45 x 10p 8-folds, 10 x 20p 9-folds and a £1.50 accumulator. Totals £20, but the rewards are rich even for 8 or more, 10 would be huge ;)

tempted to go for this lot

1 Chelsea v Swansea (Backing Chelsea @ 1.19)
2 Stoke v Man Utd (Backing Man Utd @ 1.53)
3 B Munich v Leverkusen (Backing B Munich @ 1.32)
4 Schalke v Freiburg (Backing Schalke @ 1.36)
5 Arsenal v Shrewsbury (Backing Arsenal @ 1.23)
6 Leeds v Man Utd (Backing Man Utd @ 1.54)
7 Blackburn v L Orient (Backing Blackburn @ 1.33)

1 quid (7quid total bet) 6 fold to get 36quid back.

EDIT

but I've gone for this instead!

Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal, Man Utd, Blackburn, Southampton, Man City, Wolves in league and carling cup games. 8quid total with potential of 89quid.

I am going to do a goalscoring acca based on the player's performances/stats against the other team/team they are facing current form.I've gone with Tim Cahill/Yakubu/Kevin Davies/John Terry as anytime acca.

Anyone done this and succeeded? gives nice odds seems worth a quid or two.:)

Also what's people's views on cup games tomorrow/weds?

Don't bet on Liverpool;)

that goalscoring acca would be some feat mate! Especially with Terry in there. Yakubu is one of those players who is always likely to score, i've been looking at him recently and been tempted to put a few quid on him(i put a fiver on him scoring 2 against Fulham, he didn't play, then scored 2 against Arsenal:rolleyes:). Add that to the Torres fiasco and i'm getting a little annoyed with goalscorer bets, though i did have Young to score 2 against Arsenal @25/1.

Well Chelsea got Swansea at home so i fancy Terry going up there often for a go which he seems to do at home with lower teams.

Yakubu i think will do well at Blackburn, Cahill scores against City a lot and Davies takes penalties plus Arsenal conceding at the moment.

Tomorrow's cup games are tricky but i think i may bet Brighton in my acca as i can see them being tough for Liverpool unless they step up a gear.

No luck on the weekend.

Don't really know what to expect, ever, with the carling cup. But I've gone for a draw treble.

Wolves/Milwall
Leeds/ManU
Stoke/Spurs

£10 returns £433

Have had the following teams to win both halves tonight, so atleast 1-0 in first half and 1-0 seconds half, not be winning at half time and then win full time

Man Utd
Arsenal
Tottenham

paying 57/1 reckon Spurs will play well tonight after Sunday

1 Aldershot v Rochdale (Backing The Draw @ 3.36)
2 Wolves v Millwall (Backing The Draw @ 3.45)
3 Nottm Forest v Newcastle (Backing The Draw @ 3.54)

*All of my bets fall into this category unfortunately!

well that bet
1 Aldershot v Rochdale (Backing The Draw @ 3.36)
2 Wolves v Millwall (Backing The Draw @ 3.45)
3 Nottm Forest v Newcastle (Backing The Draw @ 3.54)

didn't quite work out.

Glad Man U, Arsenal Wolves (forgot I bet on them!) and Blackburn all won. got chelsea man city and southampton tomorrow with man u at the weekend as well for the other bet.

Now i am a brighton fan, so i am biased, but this is silly

http://www.paddypower.com/football/...cup-matches/Brighton-v-Liverpool-3026431.html

4/1 Brighton win.

liverpool will not fancy this after losing to Tottenham, Brighton playing very well atm and they will be the biggest team to visit the Amex. Brighton will be up for this.

I am not saying Brighton will definitely win obviously, it would be a great achievement to win against Liverpool, but 4/1 could be a very nice bet. I'm gonna put £20 0n a brihton win and probably something along the lines of Brighton win/Mackail-Smith to score.

Nice the baseball bet won above.:)

I am going with Everton -1 tomorrow and Brighton double.:p (Brighton 5.25 now)

There is a piece in The Argus this morning about Craig no one. He was saying how Liverpool let him go as a schoolboy and he wants to prove himself to the Liverpool fans, he has also been our best player this season.

Brghton to win/Craig no one to score: 20/1;)

I have put a tenner on it.

(this is the first game i'm going to at the Amex:D)
