Good game tonight. Headset makes all the difference

edit: Also, I could host a ventrilo/teamspeak/whatever server for us to use if anyone's interested? Or is there one?

But it has voice comms built in, why would you use another program?

I thought it might get people more involved in playing CSS, would also open the possibility of playing mixes or in Enemydown or whatever the cool kids play nowadays. Might be nice to have a chat with the strange but beautiful people of OcUK. It would be open for all OcUK gamers, not just people on the CSS server.

OcUK already have a mumble server - pretty sure there is a CSS room!

Right, a couple of changes, McDan1el is now an admin as he's on most nights and seems reasonably trustworthy (otherwise ofc let me know

). Other people interested in being admins who use the server regularly, then let me know as well.

Also swapped de_chateau with de_port, as I personally dislike chateu anyway.

If people would like a voice server to go with this server then I can make one. I can't afford to donate to the server as I have no job any more, but I can host a voice server should we need one

Think its used by RIFT players a lot - but has separate rooms, and as its there we could try it?

I'm def up for some mixes

Biggest problem seems to be player numbers.

We never seem to get as many as when everybody gets a prompt that there is a CS:S event

but we won't go there :rolleyes:

how do I get a notification?

I've looked at the server's history and everyone seems to play between 7 and 10 but I always forget (well last night there was a sale on Total War games that distracted me).

You need to join the OcUK group to get a notification (on STEAM), but there ain't daily notifications because people moan about them :rolleyes:

A mix is just randomers getting together on vent/mumble/ts for a match
