Id recommend anyone to get it even at the previous price but at this price it is amazing value for such a great game.

I haven't played it in a while and always come back to it at some point and it's just like playing it for the first time again... Awesome!

Last time I played it it appeared to have changed massively in how it worked. Didin't seem so base heavy?

And yes it works on Windows 7 fine.

I picked up the main game, let's see what I think of it and who knows I'll be buying the expansion pack (I just want to avoid buying stuff on Steam and not playing it, a phenomenon that is probably not unfamiliar to you...)

Amazing game - MP is great too, some good casual coop fun as well.... it never gets stale.

Also if you do want a change, soooo many mods out there. Eastern Front adds the Russians, theres also many others including Blitkreig/Normandy which add large infantry numbers.

For 5 quid you would be silly to pass it up - online always has around 7-8000 players online so games are easy to get.

Absolutely fantastic game - amongst my top 10 all-time games, and probably the only RTS that makes it. Hill 187 is a bitch, though.

I got the original in the last big Steam sales and haven't even gotten a third of the way through it. I've also had Opposing Fronts for a few years now (free with a video card) and I haven't even installed it yet!

Is Tales of Valor worth grabbing to complete the collection?

Indeed. I'm awful at RTS but like playing C&C etc and building a nice comfy well defended base before attacking. That's not a tactic that'll work very often in CoH.

Great great great game. getting back into 2v2 at now my team mate's back from russia...

Played the number 9 ranked 2v2at allied leaderboard players yesterday and lost but we did beat a top 20 team or two as mixed axis. Not bad considering we hadn't played for 6-9 months previously.

i only ever got into coh after getting opposing forces free with my asus 8800gt. this is a hard mind taxing game especially in online automatch. probably my fave ever rts despite such nastiness as roo spam and that annoying early mortar pit that covers everywhere useful...
