Girly songs you probably shouldnt like... but do

Right. I have been inspired by this thread to listen to Come On Over by Shania Twain. Think I'll have a crack at it on the way to work tomorrow. Wish me luck.

The Saturdays - Forever Is Over

They were using an instrumental version with just the guitar riff for graphics screens on the BBC Winter Olympics coverage last year, I really liked it but had no idea what it was until I used Shazam. Turns out it's The Saturdays, so it's a bit of a guilty pleasure.

Kylie - Confide in me, that's another one to stick on the list.

Christ, stick a pair of **** on me, spank my butt and call me a *****.

I'm about halfway through Come on Over. It's pretty good all things considered. The production is excellent, which is obviously where a lot of the art is with this sort of thing.

I love the music my girlfriend likes. Pink Floyd, The Cure, Depeche Mode! She's got great musical tastes so that's good for me.

But i have to be honest, i don't believe i like any girly songs.

Would you count 80s electronic pop as girly?

I love Tears for Fears, Duran Duran, Ultravox.

Oh, and i like a popular gay bar song - You Spin me Right Round. lol. Awesome!

But i'd say my 'girly' stuff is mostly just 80s, which is sometimes seen as a bit girly these days!

Hold on to that one!
