I shave my shoulders, but only because I get rogue black hairs on them. Also trim downstairs to keep it tidy but why the hell would you shave your chest unless your a model, in which case you promote an unrealistic of modern man. Are we going to start a thread about scalves and skinny jeans next? I ****ing hate metrosexuals, you've got balls, well you're supposed to have
 
I'm officially a gorilla/barbarian/real man. Even shaving back/shoulders would be a major losing battle that would just make those bald bits look odd. No way am I gay enough to even want to shave my body though :). Shaving the face is bad enough already - it's like macheteing through thick jungle - so I generally limit that to once a week or so.

Wife found it a bit challenging at first as she grew up in Singapore where all the guys are smooth and girly, but now she loves it.
 
I guess it depends how hairy you are e.g. Google Gaint Bernard, if I was that hairy I'd probably shave too.

Not sure how to explain this, my girlfriend hates hairy guys but deems me as just right, whereas her sister loves hairy guys, her boyfriend is way hairier than me but I think he's way to hairy it just looks weird
 
I don't see the huge stigma of getting waxed vs shaving. Waxing has got so many more benefits. Hair takes longer to grow back, comes in thinner and therefore lighter, and can eventually stop coming back.

Real men bear the pain. :p
