Returning apples to supermarket

Anyone else notice that the super bright supermarket lights make the produce look nice, then whenyou get home it's all bruised and horrible looking.

They will let you return them based on response in OP (work at asda).

However, it is all about the pink lady apples as said before.

It's all about the Pink Lady.

I'm not a big fan of Apples in general, but Pink Ladys or Cox's yea, they are very nice.

As for returning the GD's, no problem there as far as I see, of course not worth a special trip to do it, but next time you go shopping there, why not?

Of course I've heard of Granny Smith apples. The plural of Granny Smith is Granny Smiths, not Granny Smith's...I was being a spoof grammar nazi and combining it with a joke about the private parts of an old lady! Ok!? :p

I know what you meant, even if it went over a lot of heads :D

I'd never buy fruit and veg from ASDA because it's minging.

I bought my fruit and veg from there for many years and no it isnt minging.

Asda follow the very best industry standards for fresh, chilled and frozen produce, their fresh food is among the best quality you can buy for freshness and flavor.

And +1 for Golden Delicious apples simply being disgusting. Granny smiths are the only ones that taste nice to me.
