Guy strangles kid over game!

A lot of disgusting replies in here. How dare anyone condone his actions, I dont care if the kid deserved it, this is attempted murder...rather sick you lot. I know you might have meant it light hearted but come on!

No one said he would have killed him, come on stop being over dramatic. He strangled him yes, does not mean he would have carried on. Kid deserved it for sure
 
If the poor lads mum was not their would he have finished straggling him? Not enough info posted and the link is dead for me. To me the bloke needs locked up for a long time he is one very small step away from killing someone.

half the idiots on xbox live deserve it tbh..

my sons is only 7 , i dont even let him use a microphone anymore because of the amount of little ***** that play on xbox live.

i checked his messages the other day and theres loads of obscenities from idiots

+1 m8, exactly what I did. I could hear him shouting in his room sometimes. I was like errr no, you never know who you are talking to. So I set up a family gold account for eveyone, I blocked all communications and removed all mics. People today need to learn that we can play games without talking every 5 mins.

Now he plays gow without any communications. To risky

How did he know who the kid was? How did he get his address? I smell huge helpings of bull.

Assuming he knew the kid, 'in a moment of madness' he took the headset off, turned the game off, got his shoes on, left the house and drove / walked round to this kids house and then strangled him.
That's a long moment.

I call bull.
 
This isn't new, played a MMO many years ago and to cut a long story short...
Guy played MMO, so did his kids. One of his kids friends found out the password for the dad, took the most expensive item of the dads account which happened to be one of the rarest things in the game, dad found out and went round the kids house and choked him until he said he'd give it back. After that he was known as the Bichon Strangler (Bichon was the name of the main town.)

The guy was a tool, he threatened to burn down my tent at some festival thing we went to but soon back down when I asked him if he'd like to fight to the death, so him picking on kids makes sense.
 
Don't know whether to laugh or not but then it's the Internets.

If true then it goes to show that squeaky, baiting prepubescent kid + rage Dad + Call of Derp = Disaster.

Funny how the fact the kid shouldn't have been playing the 18 rated game anyway won't ever be mentioned though.
 
Don't understand this? Is it just some games? I play BC2 online mostly, very, very rarely COD and it is only on COD that I hear the abuse?

Well he probably knew him in real life. It's Plymouth, they're probably related in some way...
