For akuma

• Far standing Heavy Kick's damage has been adjusted to 50 + 30 for a total of 80 damage, and when the second hit is blocked, Akuma is now at a -2 frame disadvantage.

Might have something to do with it?

I think that means Gief can spd every blocked roundhouse lol

Surely the 3rd/4th best character getting a very minor nerf isn't anything worth crying about?

Rog got nerfed hard in Super but I didn't complain, from the top of my head his nerfs were far more severe:
-Large damage nerfs across the board to normals (especially jumping ones), specials (-40 off headbut) and Ultra/Super
-EX smash unsafe on block to make focus stronger against him
-JHP big hitbox nerf
-Head-but large recovery increase, making it useless for <3/4 screen fireball evasion

Now Akuma may have some bad matchups like the rest of the cast

That st.rh was so good before, just means you're going to have to space it better or use it smarter in footsies, I don't think it will ruin Akuma by any means, you can probably still space it against gief/hawk to be safe.

I think the Viper nerf is much more harsh, she's going to have to commit against throws and safejump os with throw could be really hard for her to deal with now.

From what I remember, you are one of those that has never really had problems tech'ing my throws, the majority like you don't, it's only a select few who do but they just have the loudest voice lol.

Yeah I know my Seth is poor, I have on and off days with him, sometimes I can do his links other days I can't at all. I played Kreeeee and Art not long ago and I was hitting his links quite often, yesterday I don't think I did once.

I don't think my Ryu is as good as it was because I don't play the game as much anymore, and when I do I've been using other chars but I suppose in some ways that can help your overall game so I dunno. GGs anyway, invite me if you ever fancy another session sometime. I know what Kreeeee means now though, when you play the game less often you prefer having 1v1 lobbys, even a 3 man lobby sometimes feels like a longgg wait for a game!

I ordered AE yesterday for 360 and I'm almost finished with the Gears trilogy, I also have a local tournament on the 10th to attend so expect me on AE a lot next week both 360 and PS3 so if anybody wants games between 8pm and midnight message me.

It's at work (home office, been working at a client site recently), I'm picking it up today at some point. To be honest I get just over 2 days use from CM7 with UVOC (undervolt and overclock) settings, even with a few hours web browsing and video, so it's not really needed. I think I'll like the shape a lot better with the extended cover on.

I'll be using just Balrog.
