Female body builders, just why?

Stop talking rubbish.

why do they use good looking people in adverts to sell clothes and beauty products?

why not use fatties?

i like how everyone avoids those questions.

take a look at those jacamo adverts, i feel sick after they come on, and that guy on them needs to sort himself out he isnt even funny, and i doubt any woman wants to be even near him, unless they are of course fat or ugly.

TBH I'm not sure of he's being very sarcastic, his post just seems to long for that. If he isn't he is rather misguided.

As for that man he sounds a bit of a ****, either way I know a couple of slim men like that. It has little to do with body shape and a lot to do with personality. You can build your body as much as you like to cover your personality/charisma deficit, its only going to help so much though...

Someone put together all the retarded comments along with the hilarious ones and create a completely out of context story out of them!

yet I haven't seen any mainstream models with the body of the guy you posted. Yes there are muscles on show but the "ideal" is a lot less muscle than that guy. Either way in the real world fir the vast majority of people personality really is King. For the rest it really depends on what body shape you like, just look at that thread about womens body shapes we had a while ago.

personality is essential imo, but let's be honest here, how many fatties do you look at on a daily basis and think wow she is hot?

the ideal body for most people will be someone who is slim (not anorexic) and has a higher muscle mass than the "average joe/jane".

the thing which makes women's bums look good is the "glutes" which are muscle. breasts are mainly fat, but some chest exercises will help build up muscle underneath the fat to make them bigger and more sculpted, rather than saggy.

I think you're mistaking good looking people for body builders ;)

I'm not saying there are no good looking body builders, I'm sure if you look hard enough and drink enough beer you'll find one or two.

But you don't need to be a body builder to be good looking.

Good looking people are used in advertising because advertising only works on people who have lower IQ/self esteem. These are, generally speaking, the people who are vain and regard looks as very important.

For the rest of us, it's irrelevant and we can get on with our happy, fulfilling interesting lives unaffected by advertising or the dim witted folk who are taken in by them.

The entire population then?

That's a no.

illegals usually dont fill out a census ;)

i would say a lot more than 5 million people live in scotland

The number of households in Scotland has been increasing by an average of about 18,000 per year since 2001. In mid-2010 there were 2.36 million households in Scotland, 12,100 more than in mid-2009

how many people do you think stay in the average household?

think about your friends and family, how many of them have only 1 person living in a house? how many have 3 or more?

Kwerk is infact correct.

Bodybuilders take more drugs in one day than an average person would do in a year. Several jars of pills, protein, creatine, insulin and yes... Steroids.
Lots of steroids. You can't get like that without them or you're just not a body builder.

No they don't mate. Those things are 'probably' a waste of time anyway.

Two things

XXXX

Done.

No need to take anything else. Your mates won't recognise you in 3 months time. You won't recognise yourself in 6 months.

How much difference do steroids actually make? They're often portrayed as some sort of magic potion that will make you grow gorilla-scale muscles automagically, like Popeye eating spinach.

Massive difference. Absolutely HUGE difference. You'll make as much gains on steroids in 6 months as you would've made 10 years training naturally. I've seen guys blow up in front of my eyes within a matter of weeks. I'll be honest, I blew up as well :)

There's more than 5m people in Scotland but not by all that much, best guess would probably be in the region of 5.25m. Illegals may not fill out a census but you'd have to believe there were significant numbers to affect the overall population to any noticeable degree. So you're essentially saying that you don't like the official figures and will substitute in your own just because...

However even if we allow that you're right and there are what 6m (?) in Scotland (that's approximately .75m people there illegally or to put it another way that's about the same again as the population of Edinburgh including the Extra Urban Zone) then for your guess about cannabis smoking to be right that would mean that 5/6 of the population had tried it. That's not counting the fact that a population will inevitably have a proportion of children under the age of say 10, most of those who you'd not expect to have tried cannabis.

lol @ list

so protein is a drug now?
also what is in these pills? (you have already covered creatine, insulin and steroids) where can i get these "magic" pills and what do they do?

also only diabetics, etc should ever inject insulin, the bodybuilders who do are a minority and as far as i am aware, it is not needed and probably does more harm than good.

Lol@thread. Also while Zyzz does have a very aesthetically pleasing physique and isn't huge (he is big though), he and his crew all openly admit to having used steroids as part of their body transformations.

He reached a point just before his death where he got pretty damn huge. Not sure what he had started taking at that point but apparently it was something different to the usual.

Trap sprung

Steroids aren't illegal, everyone with asthma is using a steroid in their inhaler etc etc.

lolherpderp
